Deactivating the plugin and reactivating it after upgrade from 1.6 to 1.9.1 worked for me.
Thanks for the response Steve, but I was able to figure it out.
Simply some terrible coding where I included absolute urls in a couple of places when I first started coding my theme. The browser was timing out trying to load scripts and I have since fixed that problem.
