We have successfully resolved this bug in Gutentor version 4.0.1. To apply the fix and restore your site, please update the plugin using one of the following methods, depending on your current level of access:

• Via WordPress Dashboard (Recommended): Navigate to Plugins > Installed Plugins, locate Gutentor, and click Update Now.
• Manual Plugin Upload: If the standard update fails, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin and upload the latest version directly from the ww.wp.xz.cn plugin repository.
• Via Hosting File Manager: If you cannot access your WordPress dashboard at all, log in to your hosting control panel, navigate to your wp-content/plugins directory, upload the new 4.0.1 zip file, and extract it. This will overwrite the old files and immediately restore your site.

Thank you for reporting this. The SVG handling was improved in version 3.5.6 with a new strict wp_kses allowlist that properly preserves SVG elements. Additionally, version 4.0.0 includes fixes for editor icons (dashicons, Font Awesome) not loading correctly.

If you’re still on 3.5.6, we recommend updating to 4.0.0, which resolves icon loading issues comprehensively.

If the problem persists after updating, please share a screenshot and we’ll look into it right away.

Thank you for raising these concerns. We want to assure you that these vulnerabilities have been addressed:

• Stored XSS (CVE-2026-2951): Fixed in version 3.5.6. We replaced the fragile regex-based sanitization with a strict wp_kses allowlist that properly validates all content.

In version 4.0.0 with improved block content sanitization and per-attribute validation across all blocks. We strongly recommend updating to the latest version (4.0.0) to benefit from all security fixes.

Thank you for the detailed update. I’ve tested the “Filter Gallery” search box on the latest version of WordPress, and it is appearing correctly on my end.

Issues like this—where an element appears in the editor but disappears on the front end—are often caused by caching or optimization plugins. Could you please try temporarily disabling your caching plugins to see if the search box reappears?

If that doesn’t solve it, please export and send the affected page to me(download link from your site). I will import it into my test environment and provide you with a further solution.
