It does actually work. This seems to be a problem particularly in your case. Have you tried this on a different environment or setup? Maybe create a quick test site on instawp.io and see how it works?
This shouldn’t really happen. As number of columns has nothing to do with whether a particular section will be shown or not. That said, please check There’s knowledge base columns setting in wp-admin > basepress > settings > appearance settings. and see what happens.
If that doesn’t solve, try changing to default WordPress theme and see if that causes this. Or maybe some other plugin conflicts with this?
This would actually depend on the theme you are using. And usually, the fonts are changed via the theme. Also we have a guide on our site on how to customize a knowledge base theme
Not exactly sure whether the following reply will help you / relevanssi team but here it goes. Just in case…
——The issue with the search is caused by Relevanssi taking over the query.
You can try to add this code to your functions.php to have Relevanssi power BasePress searches: https://gist.github.com/BrElio/b32f857d17ac5257dfb4744624f4db28
This may not work with all Content Restriction features though as all articles would be listed even if restricted. I think that is your aim so it should not be a problem.
Alternatively you should ask the Relevanssi team if it is possible to disable their search inside the knowledge base pages.
Lastly BasePress has an integration with SearchWP which supports all BasePress features including the Content restriction: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/basepress-searchwp-integration/Nice idea! Unfortunately, this is not available right now. You will need to custom code this or hire someone to do this.
Did you by any chance click “do not load header and footer?”
Also, try using “Modern” theme from BasePress plugin settings. This should help.I believe Relevanssi has a fix for this and has posted it on their site. Simply reach out to them and they should guide you with this.
Could this be your setup specific issue? I tested this on our demo site and the search result permalink worked just fine. See here: https://basepresskb.com/docs/knowledge-base/basepress/search/gen
Sure you can write custom CSS to show the bullets. This depends on your specific URL and setup. So you would require a bit of web designer help on this.
We will be looking at this and try to come up with FSE compatibility.
Was this resolved already? I follow the link mentioned and search results appear just fine to me.
I am sure this is happening because of the theme or customization you may be using.
Try BasePress plugin with default WP theme and you will see the bullets appear just fine.
Thanks
This is fixed now. Please update the the latest version of the plugins and enjoy searching umlauts on your Knowledge Base

In reply to: [Knowledge Base documentation & wiki plugin - BasePress Docs] Subnav OrderYou are talking about sidebar widgets maybe? We have Popular Articles and Related Articles widgets. Here’s the documentation on that https://basepresskb.com/docs/knowledge-base/adding-content/using-widgets/
You may add WordPress’ “Recent Articles” widget in the sidebar if you wish.
If this doesn’t solve your problem, please reach out to us using contact form on our website and we’d love to help you.
Well if you look at the screenshot link above, “settings” word is highlighted in the content area as well.
