Hello Darek, thanks for the package. We restored it, but there are no forms on it. However, the forms will be restored if we create a new form and migrate again. Something on your origin/source site prevents the forms from being exported, so we request the dump, as mentioned in the email reply.
You could do the following additional troubleshooting steps to see if it works:
- Check if the CFF forms in your source site are saved correctly in the database.
- Re-saved forms using CFF’s latest versions. This allows the plugin to save the outdated data correctly.
- Try creating an updated export and restore.
- Check if the forms are restored.
If the above steps still don’t work, please check out our email so you can provide us with additional data to test this issue on your site. Thanks again!
Hello Darek,
Sure you’re welcome. Also, look at these common issues of CFF forms not displaying on the front end. Usually, it pertains to cache or cross-origin resource issues (if loaded from iFrame and URLs are not updated due to cache):https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/form-cache-problem/
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/calculated-fields-form-not-visible/But if you still haven’t figured out the issue, send us a copy of your site WPRIME package (I provided details on how to send it in my previous post), and we will try to reproduce this issue in our test server. Thanks again!
Hello Dareko,
Thank you for using the Prime Mover plugin! We tried to reproduce the issue with the following environments:
- PHP 8.3
- WordPress 6.7.1
- Prime Mover 2.0.3 (latest)
- Calculated Fields form 5.3.13 (latest)
And we are not able to reproduce the problem. We did the following tests:
- In the source site – we create a calculated form (e.g., a simple form to multiply two numbers).
- In the test WordPress page – we added the form via a shortcode provided by CFF.
- We checked that it’s working in the front end of the source site.
- We then added another form – some default form provided by CFF (e.g., the one that adds two numbers).
- We also added that default form to another test WordPress page and checked that it’s working in the site’s front end.
Once all the forms were working correctly on the site – we then tried to test if it was still working after every possible migration:
- We created an export in the source site and migrated it to another site. The Result Forms are displayed on the front end and are working.
- We then export to another multisite subsite. Also, the forms are displayed and are working.
- We then exported it again to another multisite subsiteβthe same results. The forms are working and displayed.
- Finally, we created an export from multisite back to single-site – forms are working and displayed.
So, we don’t see any migration issues related to CFF. If the forms are not working on your end – it could be caused by a caching mechanism or some outdated data that needs refreshing (or re-saving) at the target site( after migration).
For this reason, we suggest doing post-migration troubleshooting to see if it fixes the issue. These troubleshooting guides guide you through every step after migration to refresh/clear the outdated cache and plugin settings.
Just in case the above troubleshooting steps didn’t help – we suggest the following:
- If you are not exporting and restoring using the latest version of the Prime Mover plugin (current version 2.0.3), please try re-creating the export using the latest version, which includes all the latest fixes.
- If the export and restore are already done with the latest version and the post-migration troubleshooting guide didn’t help, please provide us with the
WPRIMEpackage that you used to restore. Please upload it to Google Drive and send us the link to download it via this developer form. We will try to restore your package in our test server and check if it’s reproducible.
When you share the link to download the package, share some screenshots and tell us where we could find this issue on your site. It could be the affected URLs, so we could also check them. Thanks again, and please let me know if you still need any technical assistance.
If the above suggestions help you find the solution – please mark this issue resolved. Cheers.

In reply to: [Prime Mover - Migrate WordPress Website & Backups] User DataHello Oiver, thank you for using the Prime Mover plugin! Regarding your question, Prime Mover won’t delete any users in the restore process. If a user exists in the target site, Prime Mover will update that user with information from the source site. If the user does not exist on the target site, it will add that user to your site.
But existing users in the target site won’t get deleted. You can read more about how Prime Mover handles user migrations here.
If you want to make sure that everything works before migrating to your live site (from your local), you can do the following tests:
- Create a clone of your live site to a development server (using your live hosting environment). This serves as your staging site with all of your live site users.
- First, create an export from your source site using Prime Mover’s latest version and migrate that to your staging site.
- After restore – double check the existing accounts and make sure they are not affected.
- If the test passes (no affected users) – you can roll out or migrate the same package to your live site.
The above steps should allow you to restore your site without affecting users. Cheers.

In reply to: [Prime Mover - Migrate WordPress Website & Backups] Cannot use in the STUDIOHello Ryo, thank you for using the Prime Mover plugin! I’m sorry, but the plugin has not yet been thoroughly tested for the Studio app. It is because of the following reasons:
- The default database used is
SQLitewhich is not supported by Prime Mover database connections (it can only supportMySQLandMariaDB). It’s possible you can work around this by changing SQLite to MySQL by following these tips and configuring your wp-config to connect to MySQL. wp-config.phpSecurity keys are not added by default upon site installation. This results in a warning error that you see when activating the plugin. The workaround is to open yourwp-config.phpand replace all security constants with values taken from https://api.ww.wp.xz.cn/secret-key/1.1/salt/. For details on how to do this, please check out this tutorial.
That’s it. If you need to use alternatives that are fully compatible with Prime Mover – there are many. You can use any of the following tested apps:
Local WPXAMPPLaragon.Bitnami WordPress VMMAMP (if using Mac)WAMP (if using Windows)

In reply to: [Prime Mover - Migrate WordPress Website & Backups] Slow importHello, thanks for using the free version. I’m sorry you have issues restoring the package and that it is slow. To resolve this issue, we recommend the following steps:
- You can cancel the unfinished import by navigating away or closing the browser tab or window. This is fine, so you can try again to use the turbo mode (which is faster).
- Download your WPRIME package to your Desktop so you have a safe backup copy.
3. Since you are restoring to a single-site/standalone WordPress installation, please start with a fresh installation. You can use the WordPress Reset plugin to do this.
- Clean up your uploads directory by deleting all files so you will be ready for the restoration.
5.Since you are starting with a fresh installation, it is best to remove all plugins and leave no plugins activated before you restore the package.
- Make sure you install Prime Mover 2.0.1 – the latest version. activated – enable turbo mode.
- Re-upload your package to your site (from your Desktop) and restore it via the package manager.
That’s itβthe above steps should allow you to restore your site faster than the original method. We have disabled turbo mode by default because it is incompatible with some hosts. In the next version, we are re-enabling it with improvements to allow users to restore and export sites much faster.
Now, if the restore is still stuck or encounters a runtime error, we would like to reproduce this on our end. Please send us the link to download the WPRIME package. You can upload it via Google Drive and send the link to us here so we can download it.
You don’t need to purchase the PRO version of the plugin unless you need to use the PRO features. However, your issue can be resolved by using only the FREE version.

In reply to: [Prime Mover - Migrate WordPress Website & Backups] I love prime mover!Hello Yukon, thanks a lot for using Prime Mover plugin and for rating it 5 stars. Cheers!
You’re welcome! Thank you also for updating the ticket to reflect the resolved status. For the record – for those users having similar issues – this is the workaround for this issue. Cheers.
Hello Bilal,
Thank you for using Prime Mover plugin! Sorry to hear you have issues after migration of not being able to add new themes or delete plugins. This issue seems strange (we don’t find this in our tests) but the quickest fix to try would be to update the user role of that user to administrator. Below are the rest of troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue:
- Login in your single site as the administrator user account that you use just before you migrate the package from your subsite. You should be able to login as administrator.
- Go to Users -> All Users -> click “Administrators” link to see the complete list of administrators in your site.
- Check if that user is listed as administrator. If not – please find that user in Users -> All Users and update his profile to have administrator role again. This is probably because that user is not administrator in the source subsite and that role was migrated to single site (thus updating the role). After that user becomes administrator again – user should be able to delete plugins or add new themes.
- If the user is listed as administrator but unable to add new themes or delete plugins, simply edit his profile and click “Update profile” (without making any changes) – these flushes outdated data and should become administrator again.
- Try if the issue is now resolved. If not – please proceed below.
If the above quick troubleshooting does not fix the issue – please do a post migration troubleshooting. This is standard procedure after migration to clear outdated cache, plugin settings, theme settings and all possible necessary changes to make your site as updated as possible in its new environment.
If none of the above solution works – we need further information to debug this issue. Please share the following to us:
- Link to download the WPRIME package that you have restored to your single site (please upload this to GDrive or DropBox and share us the link to download it). We will use this to reproduce the reported issue in our test single-site server (matching your environment) and debug to find the causes.
- The specific user accounts (listed by email or username) having issues with deleting plugins or adding new themes so we can use this to reproduce the problem and test the fixes if possible.
Finally, please send the two above requested information to our official contact page only. If the above tips are helpful is resolving the issue and you no longer need support. Please mark this ticket as resolved. Thanks again!
This ticket is now closed due to inactivity. Please make sure you are using latest Prime Mover version 1.9.9. If you are still having the same issues – please follow through the recommended suggestions and requested information in the previous post and re-open the ticket. Thank you again for using Prime Mover.

In reply to: [Prime Mover - Migrate WordPress Website & Backups] 10 Stars if I couldThank you for using Prime Mover plugin and for rating us 5-stars. Cheers!
Thanks for using Prime Mover plugin. Sorry to hear you have issues activating the plugin. First, that error seems strange since we are not able to reproduce it on any server before. From the above error – it looks like the plugin is missing some files that results to plugin activation error.
Can you please try the following steps to see if it works for you?
- Prime Mover works for PHP 5.6+ – if you are using a server below PHP 5.6, you cannot activate the plugin and it throws an error. So you need to upgrade your PHP version first to supported versions (PHP 7.4 is recommended minimum for WordPress now).
- In addition – if you are using supported PHP versions but still have an error. It’s possible you are using a corrupted version of the plugin. In this case – please re-install again using different method. First, we try the manual method of installation – download the latest Prime Mover plugin zip to your Desktop. Click the “Download” button to get the latest zip to your Desktop.
- Next is to delete all the Prime Mover plugins existing in your /wp-content/plugins/ directory. To make sure they are all deleted – you can double check with SFTP or FTP to delete it.
- Before you install it again – double check with your hosting tech support if they do a real time file scanning of uploaded files. It is because these file scanners could result to false positives and will mistakenly delete plugin files while it’s being installed. As a result – installed plugins are corrupted when any of it’s file is deleted. We recommend to temporarily disable these real time file scanners to test.
- When it’s clear that you don’t have any security file scanner enabled – install the latest Prime Mover plugin. If you are using multisite, login as network administrator and go to Network -> Plugins -> Add New Plugin -> Upload plugin. If you are using single-site, simply login as administrator and go to Plugins -> Add New plugin -> Upload plugin. Finally -proceed to upload the latest zip of Prime Mover plugin and then activate/network activate (if multisite).
- Check if you still have an error or not. If still cannot be activated – please deactivate all plugins in your site (if possible) – this is to test if there are some conflicts with it. And then once all plugins are deactivated – try activating/network activating Prime Mover plugin. Check if it can be activated this way. Once activated- activate the rest of the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin that conflicts with Prime Mover and let us know if this is the case so we can run further tests on our end.
- Otherwise – you can also try installing the plugin via SFTP method which should work in most cases as long as your server file and folder permissions are correct.
- Try installing and activating other plugins (e.g. Classic Editor) just to test if it works. This is to check if the issue not only affects Prime Mover plugin but other plugins as well. If it affects all new plugin installations (not only Prime Mover plugin) – then you might have a server problem. In this case – please double check your server permissions and credentials to make sure its correct.
If all of the above steps failed to activate the Prime Mover plugin only (other plugins unaffected) – we need more information about your site/server. In this case – please do the following so we can assist you further:
- Login to your site admin and go to Tools -> Site Health -> click “Info” tab -> and then click “Copy site info to clipboard“.
- Paste the results to a text file and then share it here as your reply (by pasting also) just in case you still are not able to activate the plugin. We will try to check your site and server configuration and see if there is something wrong it.
Thanks again and please let me know how it goes.
