Doesn’t matter anyway. I uninstalled the plugin and I will search for another solution.
Like at the end of November 2023 when I bought this plugin, I tried again to solve the problem with the fantastical support team from this special plugin.
Like few months ago, the answer is always “the plugin works very well, I cannot reproduce your error bla bla bla”.
I’m really sick of this.
Anybody who use this plugin has the same problem with the stage version? Exist a solution for my problem?
In my opinion this plugin is a very BIG S**T and probably all good reviews from different blogs was (well) paid.

The issue has been resolved thanks to the BetterDocs support team.
The reason was some code from .htaccess that adds a backslash at the end of the URL if doesn’t have one:
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !(.[a-zA-Z0-9]{1,5}|/)$

I did exactly as you indicated but the problems are the same.
The WordPress version is 6.4.1 and I use the following plugins:
Better Docs 3.0.0
CookieYes | GDPR Cookie Consent 3.1.6
Elementor 3.17.3
Elementor Pro 3.17.1
WP Rocket 3.15.4
Yoast SEO 21.5I deactivated all plugins but the same. I downgraded Better Docs, the same.
I think the problem comes from the WordPress 6.4 version.
