In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Export/Import EventsHi there Darian,
So are you saying that the only way to properly export items is through WP All Export? The re-saving worked, but there is no way to do that in bulk, right? We need to go one-by-one through the events, is that right?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar: Category Colors] Grab color from categoryHey Darian,
Thank you so much for letting me know! So just to be clear, that category color missing would be happening on all instances of the widget, not just mine, right? On other sites too?
No worries, I’m just curious! Please let me know when this issue is resolved (no rush, again, I just want to be aware 🙂 )
Thanks!!- This reply was modified 9 months ago by cpickhardt.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar: Category Colors] Grab color from categoryHi Darian!
Sorry its been a while, I have been working on other things, but I am back now with some screenshots to show you!
I have the newest version of the plugin as of this morning, and the widget is still not showing category colors like it did before. I am not sure why that is.
For reference, here is our calendar view, which shows colors (mostly red, for our “Holidays” category):https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lfWLm7Tw1K1z12d70jgDeMUko-jq71oB/view?usp=sharing
And lastly, here is our widget. We have styled the date element, but ultimately we had the category color showing here before the plugin upgrade, and then it went away. Is there a setting that I should be switching on in the widget configuration that would allow for that? What am I missing here?

Hi Victor,
It looks like the PRO website will only let you submit a ticket if you have already purchased the plugin. Would you be able to give me a bit more direction on where to look for that?Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [The Events Calendar: Category Colors] Grab color from categoryI am working on it on a local development site that is not live yet. My URL is currently just localhost. Could I send a screenshot in an email, or anything like that?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar: Category Colors] Grab color from categoryHey @d0153! I had not been on that version, but I am now. I noticed that the update removed the category color from the widget view. Was that intentional, and is there a way to get it back?
Thank you in advance! You’ve been so helpful, I really appreciate it.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [The Events Calendar: Category Colors] Grab color from categoryHey there @d0153! Unfortunately, this is a site I am working on locally, for use on an intranet, so even if I were to give you the URL, you wouldn’t be able to access it. I have been following the docs and have been able to move some things around by creating my own template to override one of the preexisting templates within the plugin, but the colored bars to the left of the event title are placed there via CSS, not an actual element. I’m wondering if there is a class that I can apply within the template that would allow me to place this to the left of the date tag? I have pretty much all of my styling done except that. I cannot figure out how to place an image in here that is not from a URL, which is frustrating. What am I missing?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar: Category Colors] Grab color from categoryHey @tristan083 thank you for your response! I do notice that the category color is being used in the Events List widget as well. Is there any way we could move that color to a different area of the event when it’s in the list? I am working on overriding the template for some elements of the widget, and would love that
border-leftstyle to be on the whole row instead of just the event title line.
Let me know if this is at all possible!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Mini Calendar graphic shortcodeHi there Darian!
This was helpful, but I needed a little extra support. Like you mentioned, I logged a ticket with your Helpdesk instead of this forum. Thank you!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Smart Slider 3] Bulk ImportThank you so much for this, Laszlo!
I’ve started imports and I only have ONE final question, I promise. Are we able to change the IDs of sliders that we have? Some of our sliders that we are importing are not importing with their same IDs from our old site (which, of course, makes sense) but it would be great if we could make them match, so that we don’t have to alter the shortcodes in our pages/posts. Totally fine if not! Just figured I would ask 🙂Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Smart Slider 3] Bulk ImportHey there,
Would I put that import line inside of my functions or hooks file, or would I need to do it directly in the plugin’s files? (This seems counterintuitive, I just want to make sure I am reading the documentation correctly).
And also, am I able to change the “Temp” directory that the non-local import calls from by providing another path, or no?- This reply was modified 1 year ago by cpickhardt.

In reply to: [Smart Slider 3] Bulk ImportHi there Laszlo, thank you! I do have developer experience, so I will look into this, but just to confirm, even using the API we would have to import sliders one by one, is that correct?
