    It was probably 1.5.1 I’ve taken it offline and redid the install for now…… It was hacked by g00ns

    Just checking in again. Did I miss something or is it all good? Thanks.

    Oh no…. is this a test? lol. Let’s see…. Uh…. so far no, but then I have been known to be a blind fool before…. Am I missing something? ๐Ÿ™‚

    OK… the two changes that fixed the displays in both Firefox and IE were:

    deleting the height: 100% line for the #insideWrapper

    and height: 100% for the #wrapper

    both in the CSS.

    It looks like it’s ok in both displays now. I’m going to assume that the guy who made the original theme might have left some legacy code in there that didn’t show a problem until me? Anyway…

    Much thanks. I really appreciate the help.

    OK… I’ve deleted the #insideWrapper height:100% and will leave the code until you see it in IE.

    It kind of fixes one issue and causes another…. what do you think? Looks crazy huh?

    What I did was comment it out in the CSS. Then I refreshed the browsers bythe refresh button (several times) then by highlighting the address and hitting enter….

    Same results.

    What it does in Firefox is shrink the main body graphic to a size that’s smaller than the sidebar, and the side bar extends down through it and outside its boundaries.

    In IE nothing changes at all curiously.

    First, I think you need to resize your images. See this thread:

    Many thanks…. it all validates. Now how about the white space after the posts that shows up in IE, vs what I see with Firefox? What could be causing that and how might I change it so the page displays properly?

    Thanks again.

    Hmmm…. when I posted that, something didn’t post…. I have several br />’s (one before each stmt….) these didn’t show. I’ll see if that has anything to do with them.

    Here’s what I got:

    <div class=”title”><?php _e(‘Pages’); ?></div>
    <?php wp_list_pages(‘title_li= ‘); ?>

    <div class=”title”><?php _e(‘Archives’); ?></div>
    <?php wp_get_archives(‘type=monthly&format=other&after=
    ‘); ?>

    <div class=”title”><?php _e(‘Links’); ?></div>
    <?php get_links(‘-1’, ”, ‘
    ‘, ‘
    ‘, 0, ‘name’, 0, 0, -1, 0); ?>

    Thanks alpha… I was able to fix the first thing, but I can’t find the next thing. I can’t find my line 54. Where should I look for it (as in what file)?

    How do you know where this stuff is found between all the different .php files in your folder? Again — many thanks!!!!

    OK… with your help I actually validated the main domain (the non-work related site).

    I’m still not 100% sure what this means or how these errors messed things up. I am still struggling to figure out the work related site.

    Thanks Mac…. I’ll spend some time on that site and look at those errors(?)– I actually have two sites. The one that I’m interested in is in a subdomain off of that one, found here:

    http://www.dogsoverlava.com/lunatec

    Any idea what’s causing IE to add all those extra lines or white space compared to Firefox?

    Also — is there a primer on this validation thing? i.e. What it is and why (if at all) it is nec? Many thanks

    I’m not exactly sure what that means…. nor am I sure what this means:

    Below are the results of attempting to parse this document with an SGML parser.

    1.

    Line 33, column 71: document type does not allow element “a” here; assuming missing “li” start-tag

    …ogsoverlava.com/lunatec” title=”Home”>Home | <a class=”nav” href=”http://

    2.

    Line 36, column 4: end tag for “li” omitted, but OMITTAG NO was specified

    You may have neglected to close a tag, or perhaps you meant to “self-close” a tag; that is, ending it with “/>” instead of “>”.

    3.

    Line 33, column 1: start tag was here

    Home
    4.

    Line 52, column 19: document type does not allow element “li” here; missing one of “ul”, “ol” start-tag

    <li class=”pagenav”>

      <li class=”page_item”>
