+1 here, we need it resolved ASAP
Sure @rainbowgeek ,
one can see a list of plugins installed right before troubleshooting the issue following the link provided in my previous post.
What I did to effectively troubleshoot it was to clone the install on a test server and only activate the Twenty Twenty theme along with the Events Calendar plugin.
Then moved on by activating one by one the plugins, starting from the “essentials” based on the desired functionality, with all the virtual machine and browser caches off.
Plugins like “ManageWP – Worker” and “SG Optimizer” were even deleted and never reactivated during that process, but the one that reproduced the error was “SEOPress version 3.9.2” and I thought of letting you know over here.
Hope this helps, otherwise ping me about anything further.
Thanks,

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Event categories on main menu: white/blank screenSo I tried it out in a bare installation in staging, as you suggested @jaimemarchwinski and soon enough I figured out it is some weird conflict between “The Events Calendar” Version 5.2.0 and “SEOPress” Version 4.0.3
I am notifying the developers over there and might also be useful for your team.
Cheers!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Event categories on main menu: white/blank screensince the plugin was already on version 5.2.0, I flushed the permalinks a few times and then cleared the caches a few times.
…problem persists 🙁
Any other ideas?!
Thanks!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Event categories on main menu: white/blank screenAbsolutely @sjaure ,
what I would like to be able to do is:
– select Appearance -> Menus in the backend sidebar, then
– select my Event Categories under “Add menu items”
– add them to the main menu and call it a day.Shame it does not work. One can admire the white-like-fresh-snow screen here:
https://ypethrioszoi.gr/eventos/category/%ce%bf%cf%81%ce%b5%ce%b9%ce%b2%ce%b1%cf%84%ce%b9%ce%ba%ce%ad%cf%82/At the moment we have a half-baked solution, where we use tags instead of categories, in order to display some content to visitors who desire to see excursion availability in one category and not all of them at the same time.
The link structure goes like this:
https://ypethrioszoi.gr/tag/%CE%BF%CF%81%CE%B5%CE%B9%CE%B2%CE%B1%CF%84%CE%B9%CE%BA%CE%AD%CF%82/Let me know if this helps further,
many thanks for taking the time to investigate!I cannot even start explaining how confused I am about it @jobthomas 😀
First time I come across such an issue.
Here’s what I’ve tried:
– Deactivating it from the admin panel (…reactivates itself after a page refresh, even when it is unchecked from WooCommerce as a payment option!)
– Deleting it right after deactivating it from the admin panel (no page refresh here …still reactivates itself)
– Deleting it through FTP (…BOOM! Missed me?! Folder appears magically again, and guess what; plugin is also activated through admin panel)I have to get to the bottom of this.
Hopefully next week I’ll have the time to spare and figure out what is happening.
(that is, except if some wizard out there has a clue already)Cheers
Ha ha,
thanks for the review @kickmediabrasil; will incorporate Weglot in a project launching this week.
Cheers,

In reply to: [Album Gallery for Flickr] social network sharing buttons? It works like a charm,
much appreciated @weblizar
and thanks for the quick response!Quick follow-up question:
the inability for a single picture to be shared on social networks (instead of the page URL),
does it relate to how Flickr Album Gallery pulls images from Flickr or the social sharing buttons on top? Thanks again!

In reply to: [qTranslate] qTranslate cannot handle metabox short descriptionHey there Martin1,
since the plugin needs to be told which string of text is for what language,
you can try entering the following snippet in the short description area:[:en]whatever you write here will associate with the english language[:el]and the string of text here with the Greek language (for example)
Important: the tab titled “Text” needs to be selected, not “Visual”
