In reply to: Member secure areaThank you for this and we do have two plugins installed and activated. But cannot seem to get them to work as I am not sure how to use them or find support to help me to use them.
I have recently, with in the past week I would say managed to get a simple form of protection to a new menu item which is a member project. I have been working to get this to work as I don’t want to mess about with what is a very large Member only Area, which I took down as members were able to access even admin. I now know that we could have blocked them getting into the admin area by use the 404 error code. But too late to rescue like that now.The installed plugins are:
Login Logout Menu
Deactivate
Login Logout Menu is a handy plugin which allows you to add login, logout, register and profile menu items in your selected menu.
Version 1.1.0 | By WPBrigade | View details
and
Login or Logout Menu Item
Deactivate
Adds a new Menu item which dynamically changes from login to logout depending on the current users logged in status.Version 1.2.0 | By cartpauj | View details
RegardsI think the answer to this may help me too.
