On my order forms I made all the name, email, etc required so that data was ok. But then on the main part of the form I had a select field for each day of the month which would become hidden based off a “current date” field once the day had passed. So you can imagine how messed up the CSVs were becoming without the null values being added. We have since switched to Gravity Forms and have had literally no problems. Our sales are way up, customer satisfaction is up, and I don’t get any angry 6am phone calls from my client ☺
My client relies on having a daily spreadsheet with hundreds of entries so she can deliver school lunches to paying customers. Any errors that happen are a major headache dealing with parents and issuing refunds, sometimes leaving kids without a lunch for the day.
I was able to quickly revert to a working version of Forminator and export our spreadsheets again using the WP Rollback plugin. You may want to let other users know about that – and maybe test your plugin more thoroughly in the future before pushing updates.
If I downgrade to the previous version will that mess up my previous submission data? Will the conditional logic work correctly and hide the fields without any issues?
I don’t want to throw anything off with my current active forms because I have 4 of them posted with hundreds of submissions.
I just spoke to a customer who was having issues – for some reason the conditional logic which I set up to hide the selection fields based on a hidden current date field – is not working. They were trying to select something from a past date and then getting the ‘Invalid Payment Amount’ error.
All the fields are showing even though the conditions to hide them are met. I set up the logic exactly like I have for past months – why is it suddenly not working?

Only the completed PayPal submissions show up under Forminator > Submissions. I have tested the form and had no issues but some customers are complaining that payment just won’t go thru.
I did notice on all Wednesday select field labels there is a line break after the word October (Wednesday October [line break] 5). Not sure if that has anything to do with it but I did make sure to use all lower case letters and -‘s between words in all field values.
On Thursdays there are a couple options where I used ()$ characters but made sure to not use them in the field values.
Would it be better to set these fields up as radio buttons instead?

Issue was caused by hiding a selection field after the form was already receiving orders. Instead of submitting that field as a blank entry it broke the form. All subsequent orders were given an error message, no payment was processed, and all data was submitted as blank.
I resolved the issue by re-making the form and asking customers who received the error to re-order. Not the greatest workaround.
I have 3 order forms active on my client’s site – all duplicated from a 100% working form. Now I am finding that MOST of the submissions on ONE form are not being recorded in Forminator. The PayPal payments are coming through, and confirmation emails are being sent, but the submissions are not saving.
You guys have got to get your stuff together because every time you update this plugin my entire business breaks down with all the technical problems.
Last month I couldn’t bulk edit anything. This month one of my forms is just not working randomly…
Here is the form that’s not recording entries now: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LLJr2XI4vjmm4_F8hZpDS-fZmJBSx_AW/view?usp=sharing
The users tell me it’s happening on both desktop and mobile, Chrome and Safari…and they were able to order with no problems in previous months.
Did Forminator recently push out an update or something? This seems to happen every time the plugin gets an update…
Yes the form does have a lot of conditionals which hides selection fields based on a hidden date field. Users are unable to even login to PayPal, the error happens when they click Checkout.
What I don’t understand is that I update the forms each month, and last month basically the same forms were used with all the same conditionals, and no users had issues. I duplicated last month’s form, updated the fields for this month, and now it has issues.
Here is the exported form:

When I input everything manually into the fields it works as intended. Thanks!

I think I pinpointed the issue – when I set up the Selection fields, I used the bulk editing option and somehow this throws everything off. When I manually add options to each field everything works properly.
Exported the form and here is the link:

IT looks like submissions have resumed so I’m not sure if the issue resolved itself or what was causing it but I would like to know if there is a conflict somewhere.
Thank you for taking a look!

In reply to: Ghost Captcha plugin, need help locating and removing all captchas.I am having the same issue – installed a Captcha plugin and decided to get rid of it, and now I have to login with Captcha multiple times before the admin page, and even when I get to admin login page it says I need cookies enabled, which they are, so I just have to click through and eventually I get to the dashboard.
SO ANNOYING – how can I fix this issue!?
