PhotoGallery does not create its own sitemap. If you use an SEO tool like Yoast SEO, for example, you can disable individual sitemaps in its settings.
Yes, response times have become a bit longer these days. B-)
If you’ve changed the resolution in the settings, you’ll need to regenerate the thumbnails for the effect to become visible. You’ll also need to force a reload of your browser to see the new results.
Since you haven’t received a response yet, I’ll jump in. Please don’t misunderstand me, but you should update your components more often. If your information is correct, your version of PhotoGallery is from 2016, so it’s about a decade old. Your WordPress is also a bit older. The PHP version is also no longer recommended.
You should at least update PhotoGallery. Since the 2.x versions are paid versions, you’ll need to contact the manufacturer directly—they’re not allowed to provide support for the paid version either. Or you can install the current free 1.x version.
Unfortunately, this feature isn’t available and can only be swapped manually via FTP. However, this still requires manually resetting the thumbnail and gallery image. However, this process will result in the IPTC data of the new image being lost in the newly generated previews. So, all in all, it’s a hassle. B-)
You’ll probably be told that your request is a good idea and that you should submit it. B-))
If you upload photos using the PhotoGallery file manager, appropriate directories are created in the path: your domain/wp-content/uploads/photo-gallery/* and the images are saved. If you just deactivate PhotoGallery, everything will be retained and can be reused immediately after activation.
The shortcodes for the galleries only work if PhotoGallery is activated. If PhotoGallery is deactivated, visitors to your website cannot see any images.

Thanks for the answer. It’s a shame that there is no re-send function.
I’ll try to find this post widget.
“Threads knackt 200 Mio. Nutzer”
I think the idea would be a good one too, as SEO for images is always very important. However, the entire name structure within PhotoGallery and all old galleries would probably have to be changed. Is that possible?
Has anyone tried this entry and does it prevent the entries?
Unfortunately the problem still exists and apparently has not been fixed in the latest versions.

In reply to: [Photo Gallery by 10Web - Mobile-Friendly Image Gallery] Image limitIn principle, there is no fixed limit. I have hundreds of galleries, some with over 200 images.
Check if you can find the following option in the PhotoGallery settings under Global Settings/Lightbox:
Display info by default
Yes – No
Enabling this option will let you show image title and description on lightbox by default. An update has now been released
Changelog 1.8.26- Fixed: Broken access control vulnerability.
Sorry for the later reply. I understood your system that you include the pictures as part of the post. Since the images still don’t show up well in Google searches and Google itself says when checking that the image isn’t listed on any sitemap, I think it would MIGHT be a good idea if there was an extra image sitemap. The same thing happens even if images are not grouped together in a gallery, but rather each image has its own post/website. I’ll take a look at the Google Search Central Help Community link mentioned, but as a non-programmer I don’t think I’ll really be able to handle it.
