I can see what the change is, however it offers no fixes other than turn everything off, revert your site back to a basic website and go one by one. So am I just supposed to lose revenue for days now trying to figure out what WordPress screwed up???

I actually found the way to contact support several hours after I posted this. I run a business, so waiting hours for answers doesn’t help me. I’m trying to get an answer to this issue as fast as possible. And yes, I received your reply… to which I replied back.

@spacetime— The code is my Amazon Code for Affiliate links. Which works when I place it in the widgets. As for the “steps” to reproduce, I’m not sure how more specific I can be when I say I have tried using the Gutenberg blocks for “Code”, “Custom HTML” and “Short Code”.

Someone emailed me and asked ” what exactly I mean by “can’t add widget within post”?

It means exactly that. I can’t add a widget within the post. I know you can’t add that. My point is I can get the widgets to work when placed in locations for widgets. The coding works when it is placed within the widget.

However, when the same coding is placed within a post in the Gutenberg Editor, i.e. code, short code, custom html…. it does not work. The location it is added to (i.e. after paragraph XXX) doesn’t even show a blank spot. When looking at the debugger, it doesn’t even show that code is placed there.

So my question is is there another way to get the code to work? I have placed code rom YouTube(embed) in there it works, I have placed a weather code there,it works. It seems the Amazon code is not working(that’s the only code I have found so far that doesn’t work)
