I just can’t figure out what to do by reading those tons of info. I already changed the operation system to Linux. Still don’t work.

Can’t select database
We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and password is okay) but not able to select the mypress database.
* Are you sure it exists?
* On some systems the name of your database is prefixed with your username, so it would be like username_wordpress. Could that be the problem?
I am new to everything, wordpress, MySQL and PHP, can somebody told me if i should solve the problem by adding user to the database? And how to add it using phpMyAdmin 2.4.0. All I saw on the website is using CPanel.
