Seemed as if resetting the plugins folder fixed it. There were a few plugin folders still in FTP that were not listed in WordPress or used in a long time, so thanks! Issue resolved.
The simplest fix I can come up with is to put the image in a sub directory. If you’re trying to use the image inside WordPress, why not use the media manager?
What happens when you call for it with an image tag?
