If iTheme plugin is disabled, the posts go through just fine. Something with the plugin.
“hide backend” keeps me from authenticating jetpack with FB if I log out. Once authenticated, it appears that subscribe2 plugin is also causing an issue. Not sure if it’s related to itheme yet or not. Still working on it. Tweaks are limited to preventing folks from viewing certain types of files.

I use Jetpack’s email to post feature. As is customary, I email my post text and attachment to the specially created email address from Jetpack. Jet pack then uploads the file(s) to my media section, creates my post, and attached the download files as links within the page.
Now, turn iTheme Security on, Post succeeds, attachment fails.
