Instead of setting that image as a background, I’d consider setting it as a logo. Or just using the thumbnail photo of yourself as the logo, and using the site title and tagline features to display the text. I think you’d get a lot more mileage out of the design that way.
To reposition the background image will be tricky and have implications on smaller screens.

In reply to: [Make] GALLERY images only static?Hey guys — the Gallery section let’s you create image grids with links to project pages (or larger images). There is no lightbox or slider support in the section.
Make also includes a Gallery Slider — which turns your WordPress galleries into sliders on the page.
The way the Gallery section is built — you won’t be able to find a plugin to add lightbox… while it’s something we’re hoping to add in a later version, for now, if you need lightbox support, the best work-around is to use a different plugin and add your galleries to the Columns section in a shortcode.

There’s no way to set the Banner section clickable in Make — rather we recommend you create a link in the content editor of the Banner section that your visitors can use to find the appropriate products.

You just need to remove the menu from the Header Bar menu location. 🙂
You’ll find this in the Customizer under **Menus → Menu Locations**.

Hey guys! We fixed this in version 1.6.7 which is the latest release of Make. 🙂
If you update your theme, it should resolve itself!
