I visited the TinyPNG website today looking for WebP support specifically. We’ve been compressing our images with the TinyPNG WordPress plugin and API for a few months now, and they’ve been working incredibly well. We’re hoping to automate the process of creating and serving WebP images in the near future and would love to see this feature added.
