Why?i posted the same question as did not see this – i do a lot of prework and testing when certain plugins due for an update – and for this to be forced just before xmas and with the site owner away, this may have caused issues with orders expected over the christmas period, and conflict with a lot of other plugins i use in conjunction with woocommerce , i feel notification should have gone OUT – i also took the tome to view the changes planned when it was offered as an update available – and THST should also have had some sort of notification that an UPDATE will be forced
i appreciate that plugin is free and offers great eccommecre – JUST would have been a huge inconvenance at this time of year with LOST orders had it not updated without error

In reply to: [reCAPTCHA for WooCommerce] timeout on V2 of recapturethanks , it is causing issues as mentioned , and I put a note to that effect on the checkout page to try and bring to peoples attention
I guess they maybe an optimum timescale for this – not sure of implications if it was 5mins instead of 2mins
as mentioned , people may have to log into there banking app and auth the transaction OR they may get a text with a code and have to enter that code

I think, by my research V3 has the same 2 min timeout – and where its used on other plugins, then its pretty immediate – simple form and submit
BUT with paypal now –
1) people get the 2-fact-auth and so wait for a code to be sent to phone and then use that to login
2) people have auth setup on cards so you have to login to the banking/CC app to auth payment
By which time of people are slowish , the robot times out
BUT would be great if there is someway to extend the time , as this will occur more frequently i suspect for many people

I added a screen shot of the radio button – and title i have added
also the website – fenori.co.uk – and its on the checkout page
it maybe i just dont know enough about the plugin – looking at documentation – seems older than my version and same for yourtube videos
i did upgrade a few years ago to the new payment system paypal for woocommerce and its been working fine for years – thanks
thanks , i looked into this a bit more – and on the TOTAL theme supports Fibosearch and in woocommerce theres an option to tick to replace
which i have done
working better now for the – only think is now the search bar entry when clicked to type into – OPENS a new window …..
must be a settign somewhere ughh!!!!!! –
i’m using a theme – TOTAL theme and also using a child theme
so a little hesitant to add that code into “the header”
as not sure where the right place to add into the theme itself

i suspect i’m using the TOTAL theme search in the menu – I will have to resolve that

i have looked into furhter and actually they are just using the SKU number
BUT the search intermittently return “no items found” for items that are on the website
It happened to me yesterday – ONCE product A958 came back OK – but then while on the phone to the guy that was having the issue it returned NO items
then it worked again
Been working fine for me all day today
Maybe its an internet connection issue OR maybe a menu search option
I have the ajax search in the footer of every page – added via the TOTAL theme
maybe i have a conflict in the searches – been so long ago i set all this up – 2019ish
anyway – thanks again – and if you have any suggestions always welcome

i have now updaed to the new theme which highlights the missing required cells in red and also allows the checkout page to go to the top –
however, when you click the paypal button with a required field blank – it still produces a pop up and you wait for a while and then that pop goes away – maybe a better thing would be if there is a required field missing and you click on the button no popup appears and it just goes to top of page with errors

In reply to: [WooCommerce] how to get the page to go to top when billing address errorsyou are welcome, AP – TOTAL THEME – provides really excellent followup support , I have had a few issues , one on an update as the child theme was not correctly installed using a child theme add-in and he sorted that – highly recommend them and his support, he does answers questions on the support forum pretty quickly considering
In fact the website was using this theme on its old hosting before i got involved (2018ish and rehosted and developed from new on IONOS , then 1&1) , The orginal website developer was no longer contactable or interested in the work.
Just thought i would give an update – as i have now had a reply from the TOTAL Theme developer, appears the theme does stop some of the functionality – and he has now included these features and other features into the next update
