In reply to: Articles containing YouTube links are brokenThanks Akira, I’m glad it seems to be working for you now!
Just in case this comes up again – and based on what you shared – I would double-check that you’re adding the URL on its own line. For example, make sure you’re not copying and pasting the URL along with any other text into your post, since this can sometimes add extra HTML.
For the links/a-tags, those should only display as a link within your text, rather than an embed. So I would give that first option a try if you’re wanting to embed the video into your post. Hopefully it’s smooth sailing from here!

In reply to: Articles containing YouTube links are brokenHi Akira,
I’m sorry for the late reply, and thank you so much for the example post!
Are you using a plugin for your YouTube embeds at all? From what you’ve said, it sounds like it works when the embed code includes an iFrame, but when you just copy and paste the YouTube URL, it breaks.
If you’re using the Classic Editor (instead of the block editor), you should still see support for embedding videos by pasting in the URL only. Can you check that the links are on their own line without any additional formatting or HTML?

In reply to: Articles containing YouTube links are brokenI see what you mean – thank you for sharing that!
When you’re adding the YouTube video, are you using the YouTube Embed block?
Would you mind sharing an example of the URL you’re copying and pasting to your post?
Since it’s working on another part of your site, that makes me think it’s less likely to be a conflict but that there might be something happening with the embed itself. Thanks Akira!

In reply to: How to create subdomain?Hi there!
It sounds like you’d like to have your root domain (e.g. example.com) point to Squarespace, but set up a subdomain to point to your WordPress site. Is that right?
If so, you’ll need to go through your domain registrar – where you bought the domain – to change these settings. From what you’ve shared, it sounds like this might be Namecheap.
To set up a subdomain for your WordPress site, you’ll need to take a look through your registrar’s support documentation on how to set up “DNS records,” which will usually be a CNAME or A record. Their support team will also be able to help if you have any trouble setting this up or if you have specific questions about which DNS records to use.
Once you’ve set that up, you may also need to update your site URL.

In reply to: Articles containing YouTube links are brokenHi there!
I just took a look at that page, and I am seeing your YouTube video embedded. Can you share more about what you mean when the page collapses?
I did notice that there isn’t much space between the video and the next block of content. Is that what you’re looking to change? If so, one way to add space there is by adjusting your theme’s CSS styles to add additional padding.
Alternatively, you can add a Spacer Block to add space between the two elements on your post: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/article/spacer-block/

In reply to: Google Maps IntegrationHi there!
It looks like Elementor supports a Google Maps widget, which will allow you to embed one of your saved Google maps.
If you have any questions about setting it up or if you need help troubleshooting, your best bet will likely be to ask in the Elementor forums: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/elementor/

In reply to: show media by last addedBy default, when you visit Media > Library, the files in your Media Library will show in the order of what was most recently uploaded. You can use the filter bars at the top of the page to filter by media type or dates as well.
Are you looking to display your media files differently somewhere else, or are they not appearing that way for you?

In reply to: Images disappear from the blog.Hi there! Can you share a bit more about how you’re uploading the images to your site? For example, once you download the image file from Canva, are you uploading it through the Image Block in your post?
If you have an example of a page where you’re seeing the gray sheet, in place of your image, feel free to share that, too! Is this happening with every image, or just some?

In reply to: Video Block Not Showing in Site, but does on previewGot it, thank you so much for sharing – I see what you mean now!
It’s definitely strange that it’s not working on just that post. As a simpler test to start with, can you try deleting and re-adding the YouTube embed block on that post using the link below instead? I’ve just copied and pasted it from the browser, rather than the Share button:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ejdYli9mboIf that doesn’t trigger the embed to work, would you be able to share a screenshot of what your post editor looks like when you try to embed the video? Are you seeing any error messages when you try to embed it?

In reply to: Video Block Not Showing in Site, but does on previewHi there!
I just took a look at the page you shared, and I’m actually able to see your video in the recipe section. (Here’s a screenshot of what I see.) Are you still only seeing the link?
If so, are you seeing this on any other browsers? Do you have any add-ons or extensions added that might be interfering with the video?

In reply to: I need a plugin that displays number of instagram posts -1Are you looking for a plugin that will only display the number of posts? Or are you looking to display your full Instagram feed?
In general, many plugins that allow you to embed your Instagram feed will have a settings option where you can select the number of posts visible. I’d recommend taking a look through some of the options in the Plugin directory to see what might work best for you.
If you’re looking for something different, can you let me know a little bit more about what you have in mind? Thanks!

In reply to: insert image into header barHi @donja36100! It looks like you have a WordPress.com site, which we really can’t help with here.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and ww.wp.xz.cn are two different entities: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/article/wordpress-vs-wordpress-com/
For help with your site and theme, WordPress.com has complete documentation and support contacts, which you can find at https://support.wordpress.com/

In reply to: New HTML codeHi @amelia100,
That HTML you are seeing is the HTML for the Paragraph Block when using the block editor.
Are you using the Classic Editor plugin on your site as well? If so, that is how content added via blocks will show in the Text editor. If you’re seeing anything else that seems out of the ordinary, though, don’t hesitate to share!
Awesome, I’m glad you found it worked on your phone!
That also makes me think you may be logged into WordPress.com on your browser, so you’re seeing that option to log in by default. Turning off that setting in Jetpack means the option will no longer show up at all on that site, but you may want to try logging out of WordPress.com on your browser – or trying a different browser – to see if that replicates what you’re seeing on your phone, too.

In reply to: Newsletter subscription notification emailHi there! It sounds like you’re using the Newsletter plugin, is that right? If so, it looks like you can customize your newsletters for this plugin by going to the Newsletter > Newsletters page in your Dashboard.
I’d also suggest reaching out for support for directly through the related support forum. There’s also an FAQ that includes a link to related documentation on the plugin page, which might have more information under “Sending Newsletters.”
