Thank for the link but it doesnt answer my question.

I’m looking for a simple example of what to input into the “Header Name” area and an example of what to input into the “Header Value” area.

Just give me an example of how you would fill this out. Thank you.

    [ Header name? ] [ Header value? ]

Ironically, I realized I cannot even utilize the feature after all. But I will keep this in mind for the future. Thank you for your assistance.

Thank you for your reply, I have researched many different plugins for several hours and that’s why I eventually posted here assuming this was an advanced support avenue dedicated to opensource software. My results show that there isn’t such a free plugin. I did notice one that is available but it is behind a paywall and includes many bloating features that I wasn’t interested in. Ironically, I realized I cannot even utilize the feature after all.

Thank you for the keyword search and pep talk?

For those finding this thread via search, I have found a basic form of instructions to what I was generally seeking, however I have not tested the results in anyway now that I no longer require the functionality.

    Hello,

Thank you for the reply. I think you may have posted an incorrect link.

Which free plugin achives what I am requesting?

When I clicked on your suggested link it takes me to a random list of plugins and doesn’t address my specific inquiry.

    Thank you!

There may have been a problem with the cache on the server side. Thanks for the help.

I contacted the web hosting company, and they said that I am using an Apache server.

I returned to the website 12 hours later.

I opened a fresh browser and did not log in.

Within a different browser, I logged in as the Admin and I protected a new file and toggled the option to Subscriber. I then copied the direct link.

I pasted the direct link into the fresh browser and the file was protected!

I continued to refresh the screen every 1-min and it remained blocked.

I returned to the Admin browser and created a new download profile.

After I clicked “update” within the new download profile and published the page, I returned to the fresh browser that I was not logged into.

I refreshed the browser once again and the direct link page became accessible with no protection.

The page with the direct link turned from being blocked to exposing the file after I created a new download profile.

Please check to see if you can recreate this error. Thank you!
