In reply to: [WP Event Ticketing] [Plugin: WP Event Ticketing] No email featureOk, so I fixed this problem. Anyone having the same issue, where the Event Ticketing plugin doesn’t send out emails, then check if your host has disabled the php mail() function.
Mine had. To fix this, I had to install and configure the WP Mail SMTP plugin. It allows most wordpress plugins (that use php mail() or WP mail()) to use SMTP, which is rarely blocked by webhosts.

In the past, I have fixed this issue by updating timthumb to the latest version. However, since I updated to 3.4.2, the slideshow is broken again, and the suggestions in this thread do not appear to work.
Anyone got some new ideas? I was toying with the idea of paying wpzoom for support, but frankly, if their free themes don’t work and are never updated, then I’m not sure they’re worthy of my cash.
