Getting the same error, with the latest woo update.
We would love to be able to select the latter for both express and standard versions of the checkout. I’m not worried about follow up, we have email flows for this purpose.
Note: we are using the new woocommerce block-based checkout, sending the user to the legacy ‘Pay for order’ page seems to be a backwards approach (for me and maybe many others).

I would appreciate this issue attended to with the utmost priority, it is not a good look for ‘PayPal’ to be experiencing technical problems.
I have had multiple customers experience this issue. Please provide a workaround or a fix with urgency.

Is there an estimate on how long a fix might take?
