    Hi there!

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

We really appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review and it’s great to hear that your found it easy to setup and our support was helpful 🙂

The only drawback is the time it takes to receive payments. In France it’s 3 working days and it’s too long.

That’s right! For WooPayments accounts based in France, the current payout schedule is 3 business days; however, we are always looking at improving WooPayments and reducing the time it takes for merchants to receive their funds. So although it’s like that now, that’s not to say it will remain that way in the future as we continue to update things 😉

    Hi there,

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback.

I’d like to clarify a few points about WooPayments. While it’s true that WooPayments is built in partnership with Stripe, it’s designed specifically for WooCommerce stores and offers some distinct advantages:

    • Pricing: WooPayments offers competitive rates that are the same as, and in some cases better than, using Stripe directly, with no additional “middleman” fees on top.
    • Native integration: WooPayments is built into your WooCommerce dashboard, so you can manage payments, deposits, disputes, and reporting without leaving your store’s admin area.
    • Multi-currency and local payment methods: Built-in support for selling in multiple currencies and accepting popular local payment methods.

We’re continuously improving the plugin based on merchant feedback, so if you’ve encountered any specific bugs, we’d genuinely appreciate hearing the details so we can address them.

That said, we understand every store has different needs, and Stripe’s standalone plugin is a solid choice if it works better for your setup.

    Hi there,

Thanks for getting back to us!

    You OFFER Zero Phone Support.

    You are using STRIPE technology.

And if I mention we are having Fraudulent Chargeback issues, you will do your best to help over email and LIVE Chat.

    Yep! That’s correct.

We’d really like to try and help you with your WooPayments account, so please reach out to us via our support channels: https://woocommerce.com/my-account/contact-support/

    Thanks,

    Hi there!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m sorry to hear you’ve had such a frustrating experience with WooPayments – that’s clearly not the level of service we aim to provide.

I’d like to address a few points and see if we can help resolve the issues you’ve encountered:

Support channels: While we don’t offer phone support, we do provide assistance through our ticket system and live chat. I understand this may not be your preferred method, but our team is committed to helping merchants resolve issues through these channels.

Transaction declines and chargebacks: WooPayments partners with Stripe to process payments, which means transactions go through the same infrastructure used by millions of businesses worldwide. When high-value transactions are declined, it’s typically due to built-in fraud protection measures designed to protect both you and your customers – things like unusual transaction patterns or velocity checks. These safeguards help prevent fraudulent purchases that could lead to chargebacks and financial loss. We also provide dispute management tools and support to help you handle any chargebacks that do occur.

Getting help: We’d genuinely like to understand what happened with your account and see if there’s anything we can do to help. If you’re willing, please reach out to us via our support channels and we’ll do our best to help you out!

We take feedback like this seriously, and I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

    Hi there,

Thanks for getting back to us!

It’s been almost 4 weeks now – has there been any progress regarding this issue?

Yes, this particular issue with the release of WooPayments 9.2.1 and is included with the latest release of WooPayments 9.3.0.

Have you updated your site to use the latest version of WooPayments and if so, are you still experiencing this issue?

Look forward to hearing from you!

    Hi there!

Thanks for leaving a review of your experience with WooPayments!

Setting up PayPal is normally very easy. But not with this plugin. After several hours of trying to set it up, I deleted it because it didn’t display any PayPal attributes.

From what I can gather, you were trying to set up your PayPal account using WooPayments. Is that correct?

At the moment, WooPayments is not associated with PayPal and you aren’t able to process payments on WooPayments using PayPal in any way.

WooPayments is built in partnership with Stripe which is mentioned in our documentation here: https://woocommerce.com/document/payments/built-in-partnership-with-stripe/

Feel free to get in touch if you have any other questions!
