    Thanks for that I’ll see if I can find where that is happening – it’s all new to me. Everything was working fine. Then my contact form started failing and the hosting company said I needed SMTP.
    I installed and set up the plugin which seemed to get the form working again (Contact Form 7) but then I started getting the above issue.

    WordPress is all a bit new to me.

    Thanks for your help – I’ll have a look and see if I can find where it’s picking that up from.

    Contacted the hosting company again (who are server admin) and they are adamant the problem is the plugin because it’s not using SMPT?

    I contacted the hosting company. They said it was a problem with the plugin. They said it wasn’t using SMTP.

    When I test it I get the message ‘There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.’ in a red border.

    I spoke to my hosting company and they said it was a problem with the plugin and I should replace it with one using SMPT?

    The problem is on all my websites and all contact forms.
