In reply to: WP-adminWa-hay! I’ve managed to sort it out. It seems the problem stemmed from when I added a different ‘User’. I have switched back to the original and everything’s hunky-dory!
Thanks for your help fellas, IOU one.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: WP-adminps – I hope you didn’t think I was being ungrateful earlier on by not giving you the link, I didn’t realise that was what you were actually asking for. My fault and I do apologise.

In reply to: WP-adminHi JD, I backed up the files and then imported them back like you advised, but alas, nothing’s changed? However, you’ll be pleased to know that I now know how to back-up my files and how to use MySQL. And I’d like to thank you for that.

In reply to: WP-adminHi JD, thanks for your reply. The thing is, everything’s been fine since I set up the site 6 weeks ago? But recently, I’ve noticed a lot of ‘comments’, have been posted (none of which have been approved), which are absolutely nothing to do with the topic of my site. I contacted my hosting company and they advised me to deactivate the plug-ins and then reactivate them, but I can’t do that because the plug-in function isn’t even there! The actual website seems ok on the outside, but you know what it’s like, there’s always something that needs a tweak. By the way, I’ve just upgraded to WordPress 2.9.2, which is fine and the problem started before I did that anyway?
