Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Calling JavaScript in Post – Cant Get It WorkingReplying to myself, but the issue was that iPage was internally caching some of the content, so an old error had been preserved. Contacted iPage who turned this caching off for me. The above (originally from http://www.dynamicdrive.com/forums/showthread.php?16055-Change-Image-shown-on-mouse-click) is now working fine.
Hi Janneke – I think it must have been something strange with my site. Have a totally new site now, and it seems to be working fine. Very strange. Sorry for the hassle.
Great plugin, adding a huge amount to my website!!! Thanks!!!!

In reply to: [Front-end Editor for WordPress] User editingMineo – if I understand your question right, you can use Role Scoper (or the updated paid version Press Permit Pro, although I found Role Scoper has everything needed) to control which pages, posts or categories users can edit. I have set it on my site so users cant edit the home page and certain content pages, but can edit the rest (so you could have each user only editing their own pages or posts). The plugin is compatible with Word Press Front-End editor.
Hmm… strange. I just tried again with WP 3.8.1, and its still happening. Janneke has the admin details to my site, but maybe its just something unique and wont happen elsewhere.
Just FYI, the plugin works really well with Role Scoper and Post Revision Display plugins.
Hi – yes, I have just had another go, and it does seem to be the issue.
If it helps I can send you the admin details for my site, if you send an email to the email at the top of the website.
Otherwise, I will settle for it being something very strange with my site and de-activate subscribe for now…
Thanks again!
Hi,
They are:
– WordPress.com Stats
– Notifications
– Subscriptions
– Carousel
– Vault Press
– Google+ Profile
– Widget Visibility
– Tiled Galleries
– Custom CSS
– Extra Sidebar WidgetsI deactivated them one by one, and it was “subscriptions” that seems to be causing the issue…
Hi Janneke – yes – got it on the featured image. There is no change on the back end either.
I am currently connected to Jetpack, and it no text edits are working for me. I have tried with FF, Chrome an IE.
