Cancel This. I logged out of my console and then relogged back in and everything was working again. Phew 🙂

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Autoptimize Warnings RE: Cache SizeThanks Frank. I did as you suggested concerning disabling the aggregation in inline JS. I only loss 3% of pagespeed so still running at 94%. One thing I noticed, when disabling, was that Master Slider stopped working. I ticked the box to Force in head and everything came good.
Thanks again Frank, awesome program, there is definitely no better on the market.

In reply to: [Ultimate Hover Effects] Failed to load resource: … path_to_style.cssHi Jacob
Did you end up resolving this? I am not sure if I have ever used this plugin but I seem to be getting a similar error missing the slash. http://www.bigears.net.aupath_to_style.css/
As you said, the file does not even exist anyway but I hate errors 🙁
Thanks wfalaa. I don’t think the current web host company would have done that but it may be left over from the old web host that I migrated from. I think I will just place them all in a temp file and see if everything still works.
Thanks for the link. I must get myself on GitHub one day as it seems to be where it all happens 🙂
Thanks mountainguy2
3 years after I changed directory structure on one of my sites and entirely deleted thousands of files, Googlebot is still looking for those files and showing me a huge list of 404 errors in the Search Console
I had the same problem when changing one of my directories from html to WordPress. The problem derives from external links coming to your site that are pointed to the wrong page.
If you find where those links are coming from, (it should show you in Search Console), it is important to remember those sites for future linking benefit. At least you know any SEO juice is going to get through.
My suggestion would have been to redirect all the pages to the equivalent new pages. A lot of work but, well worth it. Turning your back on long time links can really hurt your performance as it can take years to build up a good authoritative link flow.
Keep in mind, an SEO debate is like a Theology debate. Very opinionated with a dash of faith.
Thanks once again.
Thank you Magdalena. That is pretty much what I expected. I was just hoping there may be an easier way, or it was some type of error with Wordfence.
Once again thank you for your well laid out instructions 🙂
Appreciated for your comments Blue Bear. I have always automatically blocked robots from admin areas thinking it would help security wise and also so that Google does not index the files and put it all over the internet.
Thank you 🙂
I don’t know if you ran GTMetrix but it seems you have a bit of work to do on http://www.scriptiespot.nl: for page speed.
I use to run all the social stuff and chat stuff on my site but always had problems with speed. I have decided to live without it. Speed is one of the most important SEO factors these days.
I received a great article in my inbox this morning supporting this;
cdn.jsdelivr.net FILE NOT FOUND
This may not be an associated error but still an error.
Hi Frank
Thanks for confirming that. You really are on the ball 🙂 Keep up the good work with your plugin as it is absolutely awesome.
After entering your site name and recieving results, look at the Waterfall.
You will see 2 errors. Are you running CDN?
I would also remove Zopim.
Server cache? I was a first time visitor so didn’t get the problem. Returning people may still be accessing cache either on their browser or through the server. Check to see if you are running cache on the server.
I just had a look at your 2 websites and I don’t see anything wrong with them. I used Chrome and Edge.
Nice sites and loaded pretty quick.
I don’t think I can help any more. If I have been of any help 🙁
I don’t know much about bootstrap and we may be barking up the wrong tree.
However it has been nice speaking with you and I wish you every success with it all.
You probably need to wait for someone with more experience to come on the scene even though it seems pretty quite in this forum.
I just had an update come through for my theme so I have to focus on updating that now and fingers crossed it goes smoothly. I seem to spend more time fixing plugin conflicts than developing these days. I feel updates should only be once a year not nearly every day from someone lol.
