I am having this same issue. We are using google news and pretty much out-of-the-box settings and it is pulling in 1 word per line. This plugin does exactly what we want and plan to purchase pro, but we have to figure out this issue first.
Is it possible for me to PM you login and you can take a quick look to see if you spot anything? I have looked at this for 2 hours and no luck.
