    Hi, thanks for your response. Whilst that link you posted, looks likes upgrading will allow checkout using PayPal, I am not sure how to make this work via woocommerce.

    To clarify what I am trying to do – offer checkout on woocommerce with options of pay by card via square, and pay with PayPal via square – is this not possible?

    The reason I want to do it via square is Square is set as my system of record and manages the stock. If I just use the normal paypal payment gateway, our stock from PayPal purchases doesn’t sync back to square – please help, I am tearing my hair out here.

    pps, another question, how long on average, should the scheduled sync take? Mine are taking between 2 and 4 hours for under 600 products. Is that how long it is supposed to take?

    Just an update, I also noticed by paypal purchases are not syncing back to Square either, but square pay by card are.

    Hi, thanks for your message. Answers below:

    1. Square is set as my inventory of record

    2. I ran a manual sync and new products were imported. Log below. Interestingly I notice in the log that my missing descriptions are in the log (for example: Game Powder Naartjie”, but they are still not in my woocommerce products – so the issue seems to be between the sync and woocommerce?

    3. Images – once I upload an image to Square named “game_orange_newcastle-biltong-co.jpg”, after it has synced, the image appears on woocommerce as “original.jpg” or original-68.jpg etc. If I rename it on woocommerce – it duplicates the image on the next sync.

    4. I have removed my caching plugin completely, and disabled minify on WP-optimise

    Hi, thanks for responding.

    1. The product descriptions used to be updated when syncing up until about 2 weeks ago, now it doesn’t update at all, with scheduled sync or manual sync

    2. I don’t see any errors related to syncing

    3. System status below

    4. I see Square-Woocommerce renames images when syncing – is there a way to stop this as it’s bad for SEO. If I rename them on woocommerce, it then duplicates the images on the next sync.

    5. Also, while I have you here, is there a better caching plugin that works well with this plugin? I also have to manually clear the cache on WP Fastest Cache to show product updates currently, and there are constant inventory updates

    Sorry, 1 more issue – new products being added to Square are not being imported with the scheduled syncing – I have to manually run the importer to add the new products – is this how it is supposed to work?

    Unfortunately, it still doesn’t have any effect on that message on cart and checkout – back to the drawing board. But I do really appreciate your help 🙂

    Hi Dunkoh, thanks for posting this as this is exactly what I am struggling with.

    I have tried to use your original code in my functions.php but I am getting a syntax error:

    “Your PHP code changes were rolled back due to an error on line 56 of file wp-content/themes/astra-child/functions.php. Please fix and try saving again.

    syntax error, unexpected ‘public’ (T_PUBLIC), expecting end of file”.

    Any help would be appreciated!
