I tried launching BackWPup alone in troubleshooting mode, but the download is being cancelled a few seconds after it starts.
The automatic deletion of old backups is still working without any issues. It seems the issue was indeed caused by the server-side security plugin, SiteGuard.

- Troubleshooting Mode: Cannot download.
- Chrome / Edge: Cannot download.
- Firefox: Can download.
- Secret Mode: Cannot download.
- UpdraftPlus: Can download on Chrome and Edge.
Why is it that I can’t download with Chrome and Edge? It’s a hassle to switch to Firefox just to download files.

F12 Detection and Solution
You used F12 and found that the server’s WAF was blocking the “delete_job” process. After disabling the WAF, the job could be deleted successfully.Ongoing Monitoring
I’ll continue to monitor the automatic backup file deletion with the WAF turned off.
