To regain access to my blog, I had to do:
/var/www/xxx/wp-content/plugins$ sudo mv cloudflare/ cloudflare_broken/This is an extremely careless update. It shows a lack of testing before pushing this out!

In reply to: [SearchWP Live Ajax Search] CSS broken after 1.8 upgradeShouldn’t that be built into the new plugin as a setting for existing installs? Similar to how Autoptimize has done for legacy features in their plugin; so that upgrades are seamless?
Also, 1.8.x is more than DOUBLE the download size compared to 1.7.x. It also slows down website frontend loading.
Disappointed with this overhaul, it wasn’t broke.

In reply to: [SearchWP Live Ajax Search] CSS broken after 1.8 upgradeAny update? I upgraded to 1.8 and tried also 1.8.1 and it broke the CSS of search box results. The new version adds image placeholders and other CSS changes to the results. I had to restore a backup to version 1.7.6.
1.8+ does not even resemble the same plugin. Was this plugin acquired by another or something?

Look at the long list of 0-reply support threads. Things have changed here.
Some of these plugins, when they become popular, the vision gets lost. I have to replace WP-Rocket also, which is another case of that. Both Yoast and WP-Rocket were mind-blowing great lightweight plugins when they first launched.

Selected and downloaded version 13.9 from the dropdown.
Uploaded to my website.
Filled out the form and clicked “Submit”
and BOOM! 3 seconds later, email received.
Update:
So 14.4 does not send any email. Gives: Error: transient
13.9 send email but sends 2 identical emails.
Then try 13.6 and it would say sum is incorrect but still send 2 emails.
Too many bugs. The search for a lightweight, simple contact form continues…

How does sticking one comment on one blog post accomplish having a global message at the top of all comment threads?
I would like to stick a reminder of comment guidelines at the top of every comments section/all posts.
Without having to post the same message 200+ times. Something like a global banner message.

I stopped using this plugin over a year ago. I left a 1 start review back then when it was still rated 4+ stars on ww.wp.xz.cn. Support does NOT pay attention or care, and they don’t have good enough QA before releases. Its WAS once a great plugin, slowlyruined by either lazy or incompetent devs.
I hope in future they can fix things.
