HI @vskylabv,
We are aware of such individual cases, and it is usually due NextGen Gallery conflicting with the theme. Could you please let us know what theme do you use for your site?
Hi @anguria65,
There’s a lightbox effect named Fancybox that supports clicking on the half of the image to navigate to the corresponding direction.
If interested, you can switch to Fancybox from “NextGen Gallery -> Other Options -> Lightbox Effects -> What lightbox would you like to use?” and test for yourself to see if that’ll do what you need.
Hi @jamminjames,
We have received our developers’ reply mentioning that these meta entries are semi-necessary. If you are not using Pro, you can safely delete them, but they’ll get recreated.
We plan to replace our whole
DataMappersystem sometime in the future to avoid this behavior.Hi @cocomeros,
While NextGen Gallery doesn’t come with such an effect for the slideshow display types, there’s a lightbox effect named Fancybox that supports this type of navigation.
If interested, you can switch to Fancybox from “NextGen Gallery -> Other Options -> Lightbox Effects -> What lightbox would you like to use?”
Hi @canioz54,
Hmm, that’s odd. Feel free to report it using this form https://www.imagely.com/report-bug/ and our support team’s representatives will take a closer look at the problem.
Hi @kimdre,
If the before mentioned constant doesn’t help, our developers suggested that you can use this one instead:
define('NGG_GALLERY_ROOT_TYPE', 'content');Hi @jeremydunn,
Our dev team has reviewed your report and documented it. We look forward to seeing it solved in one of the next releases.
Hi @osv1,
We are happy to inform you that the latest NextGen Gallery update (3.41) should fix the “not a valid MVC Template” problem that you have reported.
We appreciate your patience
Hi @spiteri316,
While there’s no such setting, you can easily hide them adding a custom CSS rule like the one from below to your site’s “Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS”
.ngg-imagebrowser.default-view h3 { display: none !important; }Hope this helps
Hi @canioz54,
Checking the provided page’s source, it appears that you are using NextGen Gallery 3.1.17 that’s a very old version of our plugin dating back to 04.02.2019.
If you aren’t getting update notifications for it within your site’s Dashboard->Plugins, please download the latest version of it from https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/nextgen-gallery/ then re-install the one from your site.
Hi @canioz54,
Thanks. This shortcode works properly in our case. Let’s update to the latest version of NextGen Gallery (3.39) then check again to see if that’ll fix the problem.
Hi @canioz54,
We are sorry to hear of the problem. Could you please provide us with the the NGG shortcode that you use for your root album page?
Thanks
Hi @wpnoob2012,
We are sorry but this doesn’t look like something that’d be currently easy achievable as NextGen Gallery doesn’t come with such an integration with any 3rd party gallery plugins that’d basically allow them load NGG images and features while using own display types. Also NGG has a custom gallery structure instead of the WP Media one.
This being the case, we suggest using NGG’s own display types and features where you need them and create separate galleries with a different gallery solution for your main gallery constructions.
