In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Messages stopped sending… (possible bug?)@buzztone I deactivated every plugin I have and switched to the default theme. The same issue was present. What other JC conflict could there be?

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Spinning wheel stuckSame exact issue here. I posted about it yesterday along with the temporary fix for it: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/messages-stopped-sending-possible-bug/
Any updates on this? I’m having the exact same problem since the most recent update.
Sorry for not responding sooner, but I just saw an update was available and it seems to have solved the problem.
Thanks Tom for getting this fixed so quickly!

In reply to: [Autoptimize] “Prioritize visible content” message in Google’s speed test..Thanks for the reply! There are only 2 files listed under render blocking: 1) the css file from my own server, and 2) something from https://fonts.googleapis.com.
I’m not sure I understand what you’re describing or how this accomplishes what I’m attempting to do?
Can you please clarify a bit?

In reply to: [Lightweight Social Icons] Styling Social Icons, overrides? colors?I literally just finished doing this myself 5 minutes ago.
.lsi-social-icons li.lsi-social-facebook a { background-color: #3b5998 !important; } .lsi-social-icons li.lsi-social-facebook a:hover { background-color: #627aad !important; }Just a quick example using Facebook. You’d do the same with whatever else and their relevant colors. Add it to your theme’s css and you’re good to go.
Hoping to see a future update of this plugin that makes this easier. Other than that, I think LSI is pretty damn perfect (and legitimately lightweight… which is nice).
The ‘from’ email for comment notifications is [email protected]. The ‘from’ email for CF7 is the default “[your-name] <[your-email]>” (which is what it has been for years up until this point and never had a problem).
Should it be something else? And if so, wouldn’t that mean if I hit reply on those emails I’d be sending it back to myself instead of the person who sent it?
Also I just tested things using my host’s own email system rather than doing it through Gmail like I always do, and using my host’s email system these emails are NOT going into my spam folder. They go into the inbox like they should. So it’s only through Gmail that this is happening.
Yup. Unless I’m misunderstanding it, that article made it seem as though the issue would cause all email coming from WordPress to have this problem (which would make sense). But in my case it’s only the emails coming via the contact form. All other WordPress emails end up in my inbox. CF7 emails end up in spam.
Thanks. I actually went through all of those links earlier but couldn’t find anything that makes sense for my specific issue.
The thing is I’m actually getting 100% of my WordPress comment notification emails just fine. It’s just all of the messages sent through my contact form that are ending up in my spam folder (on Gmail). And it all just started suddenly within the last week.
Any other guesses?
Just to add, this issue is happening for me on 3 separate wordpress installs with 3 separate email addresses.
And I’m using the current versions of wordpress and CF7.
Was just about to post about this issue. Glad a fix is coming.
Yup, tested it in IE, Firefox and Chrome. When JS minify is enabled, it doesn’t work in any browser. Disable it, and it works fine in all of them.
