In reply to: Upload Error (Cropping Error)Thanks for your shared ideas. I agree with you that contacting the theme author would be best in this situation. Can you help me with finding him or her? Do you have a link to their website, for example?

In reply to: Upload Error (Cropping Error)Hello,
Something strange is that in the Header section it is written that the theme works best with an image height of 0 pixels. If that is so, no image can ever be used that is visible. When in the Media Library I need to know the dimensions of the header so that I can rescale the image to that size and then crop it. Without entering the new size, clicking on the Crop button has no effect.
My hosting is fast and functional and the Crop failure for the header is a non-functionality of the theme. Logically if only 0 pixels are allowed for the header image, the theme practically does not allow to fit a header image at all.
What are the dimensions of the header as defined by the theme?

In reply to: [ResponsiveBlogily] Social MenuSorry, I checked it all correctly I believe but nothing displays, neither in the left sidebar nor under posts and pages. What did I do wrong?

In reply to: [ResponsiveBlogily] Social MenuPerfect, thank you very much!
PeterOne suggestion for the future. You could enable links to Kindle books on Amazon, Nook books on Barnes & Noble, and Smashwords. Can I use your plugin also for displaying featured audio content?
And I will review your plugin again, as I am unable to edit or delete the initial post. After all, your plugin is fantastic and I will review it 5-star. Also, it’s rare that one gets support on free plugins, you do a very good job. Thank you so much!
PierreGreat idea to update your plugin description, this will solve the issue forever!
I have sent you a support mail to your website. Thanks for all the great author tools you offer on your site. Only now I discover how valuable all this is, really fantastic. I was able to setup the custom menu and widget:
http://ipublica.comI am using the slug /featured now, change of code and setup worked fine for me. Thank you!
Unfortunately there is a problem with the cover display on the book page, and the buy buttons are all at the bottom, under the cool author box, how to change this?
http://ipublica.com/featured/vibrant-life/Is it all the problem of my theme?
Thanks in advance.

In reply to: [MyBooks for Authors, by Out:think Group] Plugin Changes Site TaxonomyThanks for your kind reply. I would like to rewrite my above post or delete it. Is that possible? After all, you give great support and thus my rating is not adequate, and I should change that. I can’t see a button for editing or deleting.
Hello Joseph Hinson,
Your tip was great! After deactivating the plugin and saving the Permalink structure again, my tree /books was coming up again. But then I was curious what the problem is in general. I think your plugin creates a post category (but it is hidden) that lets all the Books be published under the tree /books.Now I was looking at the code but could not find where to change that? For example, there should be a function in the code that indicates this tree. And this could changed into anything similar, like /publications or /mybooks.
I do not want to change my site hierarchy because it’s since long published on Google and on many places on the web.
Thanks for any help. I have written also to your company.

In reply to: [MyBooks for Authors, by Out:think Group] Plugin Changes Site TaxonomyYes, I wrote them an email already. But thanks so much for this link, for I found the solution here:
try going to Settings > Permalinks, and click “Save Changes” – that’s probably the issue here.
And it worked for me!!!! Thank you so much.

In reply to: WordPress Category Problem – Help Plz.I have a similar problem after the upgrade. WordPress renames categories by itself after the site is imported by the server installation, while on my local Mac installation I have of course setup the categories I want to have. Two of these cateogories are automatically renamed, including the permalink, by WordPress, and I have no idea why. Any attempt to change the category names back failed. Please see my post on this matter, there must be a connecting logic between your problem and mine. In the last five years of trying out WordPress I never had any problem with categories.
Best regards,
Pierre
