Nevermind for anyone looking this fixed it:
Go to Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit
It is only set to “Below Pages”.
Unfortunately, Bricks Builder doesn’t work that way, it’s the theme and builder in one, so it cannot be disabled.
I just get an error when using Snapboard, so here is google photo album:

If you have updraftplus you can rollback specitic parts of your website like plugins without losing any other data btw.

This has happened to me once before and a downgrade fixed the issue. It looks pike that solution is working agaon for me.
I was using 8.7.1 prior to the upgrade to 8.8.0. Using updraftplus I restored the 8.7.1 plugin version and all is well now. Have you tried this?
