Thanks for the confirmation, I thought that might be the case.
Works perfectly – thank you!

In reply to: [Add Product Frontend for WooCommerce] Edit Product not rendering correctlyIt likely is the theme – but as my client doesn’t care (or even notice) a missing footer on the edit page it’s not a problem right now 🙂
That’s odd. On my site I as Admin have the Edit | Delete links in the Action column of the grid. Other users (editor, shop manager, author) only have the Edit link in that column.

In reply to: [Add Product Frontend for WooCommerce] Edit Product not rendering correctlyPS As a workaround I have disabled/hidden the footer on the edit pages to allow functionality, but a proper fix would be appreciated!
Thanks for the info – it gave me the clue to what was causing the same symptoms on my site.
A wee “smooth-scroll” switch in the theme was the culprit, disabled it and all is good again 🙂After seeing your reply @franklinfourdesign I re-tested our site – and yes the problem was back. So have removed the resolved tag from this thread.
I found the denied entry in the WF log (see https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bLRup37_b0uAmyOAEw6Q74fsQrqWflfM/view?usp=drive_link), tapped Add Param to Firewall Allowlist and it now works. Tested at a few different IP’s/browsers and all working.
The only issue is now the image upload can take 20+ seconds which may lead to the end user abandoning the submission. This doesn’t happen for admin users.
I will test again in a day or so as we don’t have a live system yet to see if all still working.- This reply was modified 1 year, 9 months ago by itsmir.
I found that the if a user role is author or better it works. My user was a “collaborater” , changing their role to author fixed it for me.
Thanks for the info – will keep a note of it 🙂
Note: I updated the Modern Events Calendar v7.13 and still cannot submit events via the front end form.

In reply to: [Wordfence Login Security] Activation problemI had the same issue today – the only cure was to use Authy instead of my preferred Ente Auth app.
Any plans to support Ente??
Found a solution – unchecked the “Assign all posts to user” box in the Post-data field settings and now all users (logged in or out) can use the form with the MU plugin successfully.
I also updated ACF pro & elementor which could also have fixed something – who knows. Anyway, many thanks for your help – will mark this resolved.Update: if I’m logged in as me (admin) and the post-data field assigns the posts to me then the image upload error re: required field appears.
If I’m logged in as me and the post-data field assigns the posts to another user then the form submits correctly
Did a little checking and the mu plugin works, but only for non-logged in users. I was testing whilst logged in and got the “required field” error. Tested in incognito chrome & std edge as not logged in and all is OK.
So how do we get the mu-plugin work for logged in users? Thanks for the code. I’ve set it up as mu plugin and tested.
The form now errors on submission – gallery/images upload fieldThis field is required. Please upload a file.
and yes, there are images added to that field.
