It needs to be sped up if it’s to be considered a serious alternative to more established products. You’ve known about this serious bug for two months, and yet it’s still not fixed?

@salvatorefresta as I mentioned, I have a lot of client work on at the mo. Testing this will take time, but you can clearly see there is an issue with Elementor; I’m not the only one who has reported it. It’s not a figment of my imagination.
I’ll see if I can install it again and get to the bottom of it.
@shadmuhammad which URLs were you asked to specifically purge?
I’ve had to roll back to a previous version because I’ve got a lot of work on at the mo.
I’ll test it out again later tonight. There’s definitely, 100% a compatibility issue with Elementor, on certain setups. I’m not on LiteSpeed. I’m on Cloudways.
Whenever the plugin is installed I’m unable to save Elementor pages. When it’s disabled, everything is fine. I also tested it on a clean install and encountered the same problem, so there’s definitely an issue on some setups. Not good.

Seriously unimpressed. Will be requesting a refund. Support is also non-existent.

It’s just sloppy internal testing processes, and ShortPixel have confirmed that. Before you start mouthing off at a web developer with more than 20 years’ experience of building everything from WordPress plugins and Magento extensions to full-blown custom web apps, maybe you had better get your facts straight and understand a bit more about how the plugin works.
This is a bug, and a poor bug, end of. And I have been proven right.

There’s no way that was tested before release. What’s the first thing you would do to test an image replacement plugin? I know…how about try and replace the image?
No excuses. This is a ridiculous oversight.

It’s not even worth one star at the moment. It’s like a shopping cart plugin without the checkout button. Utter crap.
Yup, same for me as well. Yet another developer who doesn’t test their plugins properly. Becoming a bit of a thing recently, it seems.
