    The DB version is 5.5.5-10.2.33-MariaDB-10.2.33

    Where can I find the collation set used?

    We didn’t any recent upgrades to the DB server and the previous version of the plugin installed was 2.3.4

    Hi,

    thank you for your reply.

    The problem occurred in Safari without any installed extensions. However your answer brought me to the solution. That have must been a caching problem with the browser. After purging all local browser caches, the problem was gone and erverything works well.

    Hi there!

    @wpkube any news for that?

    We have the same issue and the real problem is, if you receive a lot of spam posts and the plugin is sending a ton of confirmation emails, for sure you will end up on email providers blacklist for sure. And that is a really big problem. Imagine you run a Shop as well and you transactional email don’t reach your customer. That’s what happened to us. The horror!

    @goaroundagain mentioned to run StCR after preprocess_comment. This could be a good workaround to fix that behavior.

    Could you please dive in that thread again.

    Hi Ross,

    thank you for your answer.

    You’re right. The module is disabled for security reasons by the host.

    Can this be problem for the plugin to work properly? Guess not, because everything looks fine except the php_uname() error in the log.

    Hi Marco,

    we have the same problem here.

    It occurs only on “Private Sessions”. When you click the “Accept” Button the page reloads and the cookie banner is still there.

    We can replicate this issue on Safari under MacOs and iOS. But the have to be in “Private Mode”.
