In reply to: Proper procedure for moving dev site to live site?I’m trying a different approach. So I copied the “contents” folder on the server to a new folder “review/contents” and edited WP-CONFIG to point to the db on another server. I have whitelisted the IP on my other server. When I go to the new url “thissite.com/review/contents” I get:

In reply to: Proper procedure for moving dev site to live site? Thanks for the reply.
So what happens if I share the same DB, and, having added some pages, uploads, pictures on the dev site, flip the switch (so to speak) making the dev site the live site (same folder structure as the original live site??Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Firelight Lightbox] [Plugin: Easy FancyBox] Not working, but was! (I think)Sorry, I had enabled the jQuery call in the header just to make the expand work again. I re-posted with it off so you can see it now. I also removed the css at the top.
As you should see, the FB works now, but te expand function is NOT working. Some conflict?

In reply to: [Firelight Lightbox] [Plugin: Easy FancyBox] Not working, but was! (I think)Tried deleting that and it works on the test page.
On the actual page that I’m implementing it on, it does not. I have a jQuery Expand area, and it kills that + the Fancybox does not work.
Refresh the same link to see – I have made a duplicate page of the ‘live page so I can delete it later – strangely, the FB part works on this duplicate page – otherwise all exactly the same – but FB does not work on the live page. In any case FB is killing the Expand.

In reply to: MAMP localhost not working properlyI tried again after re-reading. After steps 4&5 and save, I get a 404 – -presumably because there are no files in there yet, right?
