In reply to: Where are located upgrade database scripts?Hi,
I think I found what you’re looking for in the codex:
http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Updating_WordPressIf a database upgrade is necessary at this point, WordPress will detect it and give you a link to a URL like http://example.com/wordpress/wp-admin/upgrade.php
Also, check this out:

In reply to: How many subscribers are reading my posts?Sorry I wasn’t much help. the only other thing i can offer you is this:
http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-install-google-analytics-in-wordpress/
If this doesn’t do it, then i would suggest contacting a developer and seeing if you can make a plugin for this particular need. If you go that route though, do your homework and look at their portfolio and also what reviewers have to say about their plugins.
If anyone else has any information about what she is looking for, please share 🙂

In reply to: permissions issue on single site setupIf you had a php problem, you would usually get a PHP error message. This 403 message is definetly an IIS permissions problem or configuration problem.
Even though you’re using a NAS, permissions can still be set for them – either on the NAS directly, depending on if it’s enterprise class or consumer grade, or locally on the server. See your NAS for permission settings.
you can also take a look at this:
http://www.microsoft.com/web/wordpresshttp://stackoverflow.com/questions/2532079/iis7-folder-permissions-for-web-application
Lastly, have you looked at the web server logs? Please share those with us as well.

In reply to: permissions issue on single site setuphmmm, well you don’t need PHP manager for this setup. you can install PHP locally to each server.
Secondly, are you installing WP to local storage? or shared storage? I.E. a shared drive that is LUN on a NAS or SAN? can you explain what you mean by a “samba domain”? I think i know what you mean, but would rather not guess on this point.
Third, if you weren’t able to get it working on a single server, and are getting the same message – then it is either a permission issue, which is still possible, or a PHP issue. Though that seems less likely as you’re getting an IIS error.

In reply to: Change website host.sorry, don’t think i read that correctly. Are you looking to change web hosts? if so, who is your current host?
a bit confused. so if you could start from the beginning and walk me through what you’re trying to do, that would really help.

In reply to: How many subscribers are reading my posts?Hi,
I found a couple of articles out there about tracking user activity on wordpress. Here are a couple of tracking plugins that I found:
http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/simple-history/
http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/threewp-activity-monitor/
I would recommend simple-history vs threewp simply out of how recently each was updated.
But don’t take my word for either, do your research, perform tests, read documentation and read reviews of each. It’s possible that these won’t accomplish what you want, so before you load them up, read up on them!
Let me know if either one of these works for you.

In reply to: permissions issue on single site setupif you’re getting a permissions error then you need to set permissions for IIS.

In reply to: Cannot install WP on Win Server 2012 via Platform Installerthe error that you’re getting is referring to accessing the files on the server via the browser and via the IIS process.
this is a IIS permission problem. Are you sure you set them correctly?
I found this page and it talks about IIS application pools and permissions:

Let me know how that works out.
