Thanks. I am already using Simple 301 Redirects which is better supported and does not seem much different.

I guess what I am looking to do is pass a piece of code to a PHP script on a page, the code being the final destination address, and having to be embedded in the hyperlink.

    so:

    mysite.com/commonpage?=finaldestinationaddress

then the code pulls out the finaldestination address and adds domain to it, inserting it into a redirect instruction.

Hopefully somebody else may chime in, otherwise I may need to pay to get a plugin or piece of code written. I wouldn’t be able to write something like this myself I don’t think.

AArgh, its just getting worse. I went and changed all the slugs on quantity from:

    50
    100
    250

    etc

    to

    q50q
    q100q

so they couldn’t be misread, if that is what is happening. Now only size generates properly in variations, all my others do not.

    Setting them back works fine.

But trying to assume that a very short slug, for example 5d and 4d for my turnarounds, is what allows them to ‘set’, also fails.
