Forum: Alpha/Beta/RC
In reply to: Beta testing emailI have never installed a beta version pluggin. I have always looked at the reviews and checked that it has been updated within the last six months, and that it is compatible with the wordpress version I am using.

In reply to: Beta testing emailI have not installed a new plugin for at least three months. So the answer is no.

Hello
I cant find the original links to ip 69.46.36.7, but I have a screenshot for another company doing something similar with hits every 5 minutes over a period greater than 20 hrs. They seem to only go to the main url and not to any other pages.
The IP lookup doesn’t help much because the names given for 69.46.36.7 donot include wordfence, but Netriver.
Sorry everyone. I contacted my domain hosting and its their problem.
I expect I will soon be able to download the required plugins.Thank you that explains the outlook situation.
Is there anybody out there who can explain the web situation?
I have just tested my optin form with other email addresses, and found that there is no problem with gmail addresses. For some reason outlook.com addresses are the only ones that don’t get received. The web situation is more urgent and important.

In reply to: Edit media to enlargeI found that the documents say you cant enlarge a media file, you can only reduce it in size. Makes sense.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Works perfectly then suddenly stops sending emailsWell, my domain host suggested wp smtp, so I tried that but could not get it to work, even though it seemed simple enough. EDD suggested wpmandrill, and I did not like the idea of signing up for an account, and it seemed complicated, but I tried it and it worked first time.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Works perfectly then suddenly stops sending emailsThank you. You are right. I contacted my domain hosting and they replied:
In a bid to reduce the amount of spam leaving our network and blacklisting our servers we are testing a new anti spam system, as a result it means that PHPmail() usually doesn’t work out of the box so you will need to make some code changes to the form.1) Add the -f flag to your php code http://thesystemadministrator.net/cpanel/using-5th-parameter-in-php-mail-function-on-cpanel-server
2) Switch to SMTP instead and make sure your authenticating with a valid e-mail address that exists in your cPanel. Please refer the below error message.
550-Verification failed for <[email protected]>\n550-Previous (cached) callout verification failure\n550 Invalid sender <[email protected]>
Thanks again.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Never Receiving MailI am in the position of the contact form working perfectly for a couple of weeks after I installed it, and now since the new year(coincidence?) or installation of two plugins and their deinstallation I get the message “email sent successfully…” in the green box, but I dont receive the emails. I have tried three email addresses looked at my ISP website and my junk/spam folders, added the form to a new page and nothing.
Any ideas?
