In reply to: [WP Google Review Slider] 17.9 – Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site ScriptingYes, it is safe. What is crazy is 17.9 wasn’t even out in April when this was reported so I don’t know why it says 17.9 has the issue. I will try and work with them to get it taken down.

In reply to: [WP Review Slider] Duplicate reviews – loads of them!I just pushed out 14.3 that should fix this. You will need to remove the old reviews first.
This would only have been an issue if an original review on Google had script tags and somehow made it past all of Google’s security and was downloaded to the plugin. So not really possible. I just pushed out V17.9 with extra output sanitation for downloaded reviews just in case.

In reply to: [WP Google Review Slider] Unable to download reviewsThat usually means the Place ID or Search Terms are incorrect. Check this for finding your Place ID:

Otherwise, post a link to your reviews on Google and I can test.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Google Review Slider] Removal of WP google review pluginThat is strange. If it isn’t on the Plugins page list then it shouldn’t be on the site. You can FTP in to your server and delete the folder out of the plugin sub-directory. There are also some File manager plugins out there that you can use to do this.

In reply to: [WP Google Review Slider] One Review MissingThat is really strange. It sounds like maybe the download source got changed or updated. When the reviews are downloaded they are tagged with the download source name/id. You may have to just delete reviews and start over.

In reply to: [WP Google Review Slider] One Review MissingDouble check the filters for the review template and make sure one is not filtering it out.

In reply to: [WP Google Review Slider] One review on mobileIt looks like you may be using a plugin to minify the js. Try ignoring the js for the plugin so it is not minified/combined.

In reply to: [WP Google Review Slider] Yet another predatory pluginIt should have gotten 40. What Place ID or search terms did you use? I’ll take a look.
Also, it does cost money to gather reviews so without limiting data I would be paying you for using the plugin.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP TripAdvisor Review Slider] Unable to download new reviewsThey don’t pull down automatically in the free version. Have you tried manually clicking the button to download new ones?

In reply to: [WP TripAdvisor Review Slider] Unable to download new reviewsWhich review are you missing? It seems to be working okay for me, although I had to do it twice.
