Just did the upgrade to 7.0.2 and….everything worked.

I have changed it myself, it was actually very easy to do. All you need to do is change it from fetching the title to fetching the post_meta data.
Mind sharing the code on how you did this. I too need the ability to define the title of the breadcrumb used in the trail.

I’m not sure I follow what you’re saying. How will changing the slug (which I already do to keep the url short) change the title shown in the breadcrumb trail?
I was wondering how you solved this problem…as I too need to replace the breadcrumb title with something I specify. Any input would be helpful, for sure!
