I tried deactivating all plugins – keeping only yours and those by Woocommerce. The information in the fields still did not show up after the item was added to the cart. I tried with different items that had different product fields applied to them.
Then, I changed to the Storefront theme – the information in the field did not show up after the item was added to the cart. (I am currently using Woostify theme-pro version.)

For the moment, I have solved the problem by taking off the .05 percent multiplication that I had added to help pay for shipping supplies and the rates seem to be correct.
To keep from losing money on shipping in the meantime, I have disabled my selected rates and have chosen to let non-selected rates show up.
