In reply to: HTML Mode ProblemOK, I now turned off ALL plugins simultaneously. No difference. On this page I can not switch from HTML to visual — only from HTML to “custom HTML”.
At what point to the programmers take responsibility that there is a glitch in WP 5.0.2?

Yes I turned off plugins several at a time — not all at once.
With all plug-ins on, I went to other pages on my site and had no problem switching between visual and HTML mode.
Clearly this seems to me to be an issue with WP 5.0.2, and their new editor.
