OK, I understand, but the reason I placed it here was due to the identical nature of the problem and that I had already gone through all of the processes detailed earlier:
“Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict, is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty.”
…and that the problem was related to a Mailchimp RSS newsletter feed.
I am up and running OK, but it requires Yoast to be deactivated
I had the identical issue when trying to send my RSS Mailchimp newsletter today. So glad I found this thread, so I can send it tomorrow instead. I deactivated both Yoast plugins (free and pro) and everything works as it should.
I spent hours googling and trying to fix the issue before finding this.
Will there be a plugin update to fix this issue?

I tried that but can’t get it to work. The plugin pages suggest the text needs to already be marked up for translation and not sure if this string is.

That worked exactly how I wanted it. I had overlooked that plugin as it hadn’t been updated for a while so not appearing in the Add Plug in interface in wp.

it fixes the problem that this thread is about i.e. regaining access to the admin area. The plug in broke formotivation’s site so its as well to remove it.
I had the same problem.
The solution is to log in to your site via ftp, go to wp-content/plugins and delete the plug in there.
That should fix it.
