In reply to: [WP Flexslider] Flexslider ShortcodeThank you very much. I think the issue is that WP Bakery is very out of date and I can’t update it (without purchasing). I ended up redoing it with a different plugin but I genuinely appreciate your help.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Large Tables with TablepressHi Tobias,
No trouble, this plugin has been great for me. I did read that tip, to increase PHP memory limit, in the forums. It didn’t help me in uploading the xls file but the xlsx workaround isn’t a big deal. I was thinking a csv may be the best route. I’ll try that if I run into further issues.
It sounds like I should be okay overall though. Thank you for the response.

In reply to: Using Java with TablePressThanks again Tobias
TablePress is working so seamlessly besides the login that I am working around it.
I will go with adding a new page with a typed in “user” for each page’s short code. Though we have 100s of customers only a handful will be really wanting to use this service.
The simplicity of the setup after I built the table allows our sales to make a new customer page as a customer requests it.
That will work for what I need to do.
Thank you very much.

In reply to: Using Java with TablePressThanks for the response. You got it I’m trying to dynamically filter the TablePress table based on the user. I didn’t like using the wordpress login because it gives even the lowest level users a bunch of extra stuff on the webpage and it will be a pain to enter all the users manually.
As of now I’m just making a password protected page for each customer that already has the shortcode filter manually typed. There are 100s of customers but I’m just doing it on an as need basis and showing others how to add a new customer. Thanks to TablePress’s very simple shortcode anyone can add a new page with a filtered table easily.
I have some decent experience programming but not professionally. Mainly this HTML and Java world is new to me. Java is pretty easy to pick up though. Mainly its learning how it all can and can’t interact.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Filtering on user id.I’m looking for the same solution for the same reason.
Are you using a login for your users? Are you giving them a wordpress login, using a plugin or made your own login? I’m trying to work this out so I don’t have to make pages for each user.

In reply to: [Add Multiple Users for WordPress] I am no longer adminThe same thing happened to our company. Everyone lost admin rights. Luckily someone was able to edit the phpMyAdmin and get us back in, somewhat. Administrators are still very restricted and can no long edit plugins, users or other things.
I’ll update you if we have some luck.

In reply to: Lost Administrator Rights Help!I’m new to wordpress, so excuse me if my response is way off base.
I’ve only used the web version so far. I need to setup the FTP but I was testing everything out without it.
Someone else built our webpage then handed it over. I’m trying to get a hold of that person to see if their administrator account is still working and they can correctly set my rights.
I’m afraid that all the accounts were changed by the addon. I’m also trying to get a hold of wordpress support. The only channel I could find was using an account recovery form, but I wasn’t able to submit enough valid information.
There was a setting to default accounts to subscribers. I have a feeling that setting overwrote my old accounts. Also the user name of one of the test users I put in is now my accounts username. The login and password are the same but my username changed.
