In reply to: [WooCommerce] How do I change “add to cart” text and the link? After the what I’ve gone through I would rather start over by editing the html code and uploading through an FTP client.
I looked at the code by “view source” at the website and could find the place to change text to “contact us” and the place where I edit the link so if points to my contact page.
Who do you recommend for viewing/editing the html code (similar to seeing “view source”) and who do you recommend for an FTP client?
I used to do this years ago with another website (not wordpress) but I don’t remember the ropes.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] How do I change “add to cart” text and the link?yes
I had to choose “shop” to get it to work on the shop page.
How do I change the font?
Can I make a change to just one product button or will it change them all?
I chose “shop” and “custom button per product”- This reply was modified 5 years, 6 months ago by jseng1.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] How do I change “add to cart” text and the link?I uploaded the plug in, went to products and selected the product and edit option, made the edit in “product custom button settings” by entering a lable and a URL, updated, but the button text did not change on my shop page. What am I missing?

Will WC Custom Add to Cart labels do both jobs?

In reply to: Image upside down and won’t correct with editingGreat – that worked beautifully. Thanks
But on this page:
https://jsengineering.net/saxes-with-linear-fingering-system/there are two images that need to be rotated. The top image and the 3rd image down on the right. How do I pinpoint these different images to be rotated 180 degrees?
Now when I go to:
https://jsengineering.net/shop/new-js-saxes-with-linear-fingering/I see the CSS code added to the blank window on the left and the image is correct.
But when I go to:
https://jsengineering.net/saxes-with-linear-fingering-system/the new code is there but the image is still upside down.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] sizing images on catagory pageThe image I’m talking about is the one on the right (of the 3 in your screen shot https://d.pr/i/H99cXg). The image size is 1148×1000 which is bigger than other two images on the left. The aspect ratio box is blank on all 3 images.
The problem is that I created that page a couple years ago and all those early images are larger than the last image that I’m complaining about. This happened because WordPress changed their defaults or database or whatever. I don’t want to make all the other images smaller to match the new image. I just want to make the one image larger (the last one that I uploaded – the one I’m complaining about – so it matches the rest in proportion.
your screen shot is of this page:

In reply to: [WooCommerce] sizing images on catagory pageI tried making the images larger in photoshop and reloading them but they all default to the same size on the wordpress webpage.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] sizing images on catagory pageIn the short clip you sent the size box is selected but the size of the image is already at default and you can only make it smaller – not larger. But I need it larger. Word press upgraded and now it defaults new uploaded images that are smaller than the original images I uploaded in a previous version of wordpress. The new workpress defaults are causing the problem of some images being smaller than my original images.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] sizing images on catagory pageYes but that only lets you change the aspect ratio. How do I adjust the overall size of a particular image so it appears LARGER on the web page? Without changing the sizes of other images on the same page.

In reply to: Changing PP button in cartThe image in the link is similar to mine but the bottom button on my page says “pay now” when using a PC.
I have two other websites
jsengineering.net
jimschmidtjazz.comall three have the same WP version.
But when I go to woocommerce/settings/payments;
Only JSMotorsport.com has an extra payment setting. I must check both “paypal express checkout” and “paypal checkout” at bottom or there will be an error message and payment won’t go through.
If I uncheck “paypal checkout as mentioned below then a “checkout with paypal” button appears but PP doesn’t work as described above.
The other two websites jsengineering.net and jimschmidtjazz.com don’t have the extra “paypal checkout” setting and you log into PP later after you see the shipping charges so everything is OK. I’d like them all to be the same. But I can’t uncheck “paypal checkout” in the settings for jsmotorsport.com for the reasons above.
