In reply to: [Analyticator] 6.5.4 conflict with Manage with Live PreviewLive Template preview was displaying a white page with “Google Analyticator” stats on the upper left, only. Disabling the plugin allowed the Template Live preview to work again.

– I renamed the plugins folder to ‘plugins_old’: not fixed
– I renamed the current theme to add ‘old’ at the end: not fixed
– I replaced the database with a backup from pre-update: not fixedIm frusterated.
I don’t seem to have an .htaccess file. I seem to remember my host and I did something with it a year or two ago because it was hacked with things added to it. Their fix actually broke the site more and I forgot how we fixed that. I don’t seem to have one at all, now.

Can anyone even get to this link? It’s the third time Ive tried posting and the page loads as blank too! Im so frusterated!

Right, and I understand that and did read that, but it seems to me that it isn’t even working 1% let alone 100%.
It caught 0% of the files in multiple areas so should I just figure that the malware scan is null, altogether, to use?It gave me a 403 Forbidden Error when trying to scan so I’m not really sure what’s going on.
Updated to add that I manually removed the code inserted into these files, but I’m still not sure about what malware exactly your plugin detects?

This is still a problem because full sized images are cut off and cropped. I am frustrated with the lack of control over my images which is important as a photographer.
Also, the images are as-is. Clicking on them does not blow them up to a larger size so the viewer is stuck with a small image or a gigantic one.I love so many things about this theme but if I were to change anything- it would be:
– More control over image sizes in the sliders and gallery
-Ability to insert photo previews, and meta data for SEO so that websites can properly scrape my pages to share with social media.With so many WP templates out there specifically for photographers and designers I cant justify spending $199 on a template that limits me to this extent.

In reply to: [Make] SEO with Static Page Sliders as HomeYep! I am using it and it helps immensely. I am using https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/nextgen-facebook/ though because it helps with everything. The only issue is to really be able to add everything I have to purchase pro.
I use the yoast version on one of my other websites- but it’s content driven already and doesnt have as difficult a time.

For a creative or designer which is mainly targeted for the ‘Make’ theme, it’s vital to have the SEO options because our websites tend to be image driven.
Facebook is a very important marketing tool for a lot of people and the way you can verify the way Facebok ‘scrapes’ or gatheres your website info for show is by checking your URL here https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/ .
In trying to troubleshoot my SEO issues I verified the other websites that were being showcased with the ‘Make’ theme and realized they all had the same issues I did.
Inferred Property The ‘og:url’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.

og:image could not be downloaded or is too small og:image was not defined, could not be downloaded or was not big enough. Please define a chosen image using the og:image metatag, and use an image that’s at least 200x200px and is accessible from Facebook. Image ‘[random available image]’ will be used instead.I cant express how important it is to have the SEO options there for the graphically driven templates. They look great but their marketability is very poor through SEO functions.

In reply to: [Make] How to use different sections inside columns?I’m not sure I understand what you are asking, but let me tell you what I think you are asking and give you an example of how I achieved it.
I wanted a page with 3 categories, each with an image linking to the category I wanted them to go to. In my case it’s my portfolio with ‘Children’, ‘Pregnancy’, and ‘Birth’ photography.
When you click the image, it would take you to the gallery of that image.
I made a page titled ‘Portfolio’ and selected the ‘Columns’ option through the page builder. I put three images representing each category to choose from in the provided boxes.
Then made three pages- one for each category- and put a ‘Banner’ option in them with my images. For each of the pages I selected ‘Portfolio’ as the parent menu item from ‘Page Attributes on the right. This way the pages wont show under the main menu but as a child menu under Portfolio.Then, in my Portfolio page, I went to each image setting in the upper right of the image and put in the URL of each of the category pages.
That way when you click on it, you will be taken to the corresponding page for that section.Does this help?
